In news that will bring joy to the hearts of thousands of north-central Iowans, the Freehold Air Plaza will be renamed in honor of President (and former aviation mogul/genius) Donald J. Trump. A multi-thousand dollar renovation, months in the planning, will bring new, gold plated fixtures to the rest facilities in the main terminal and removal of the debris that currently blocks the runway.



According to Freehold Mayor Johny Joe Hold, "We citizens of Freehold can't imagine a more fitting tribute to the greatness of President Trump. We're certain that the Trump moniker on our airport will make the economy of north-central Iowa as vibrant and successful as President Trump's own business empire has been, providing large tax loss writeoffs for decades to come."

I'll be a little sorry to lose the old name. Freehold Air Plaza reflects so very clearly what it is all about: True American™ freedom, Mayor Hold, the God-given air in our skies and, of course, the luxury shopping opportunities.

But I understand the decision and if there had been a vote on it (which, quite rightly, there wasn't) then I would have voted as instructed by my husband.

Well praise the Lord! I'll be sure and do all my flying from there in the future. Last time I flew out of Quad City I'm pretty sure the TSA agent was a homosexual. Horror of horrors.

Let's not go overboard here.

As much as we want to support the President, the private airstrip in the Church compound will remain in operation--in fact, the facilities will be more luxurious than ever as they are upgraded to accommodate Pastor Zeke's sleek new Airbus. After all, our pastors wouldn't use a public airport any more than they would use a public golf course or a public rest room. Besides, after a long trip saving souls around the world and a long flight home, can we really expect our pastors to endure that ten minute limo ride from Trump International back to their mansions?

Of course, the Church airfield will still be open to Platinum plus-level tithers like you, Brother Dennis.

Thanks to everyone for their support. That picture was taken a few days ago and the cow carcass has been removed.

We will have a stunning new facility. Is everyone thinking Trump International Airport or are there other ideas?

This picture was taken by me today at the South Pier. Most of the cleaning has been done, all we need now is a big and beautiful sign reading: Trump International. It is assumed that the first international, fully seated, completely mask-free flights will take off to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, a wonderful new seaside tourist destination for us Freeholders with no homers, kikes, liberal judges or journalist scum.

That isn't a mountain. It's a slag pile. When the church compound was expanded in the 70's, there was a lot of low-grade, high sulfur coal removed. Unfortunately, the new nanny state Clean Air Act made it impossible to sell the stuff, so the church parked it out by the Darkietown neighborhood, just off to the side of the Air Plaza.

We're going to place the 60 foot high golden T at the summit.

My dad recalls that there was a campaign to rename the district Aberfan. Did anything come of that?

It was a little before my time, but, as I understand it, the Aberfan name was rejected because it sounded too Australian. Of course, Darkietown wasn't an appropriate name for a neighborhood (even if it was accurate), so the name was changed to Negro Heights in 1996. Why they called it Heights is a mystery to me, given that the land is as flat as Keira Knightly.

We seem to have hit a slight snag in the renaming/refurbishing project. Construction crews, while removing the debris, located a sinkhole on the runway.




We're not quite sure how the sinkhole formed, although the rumors that it came from improper management of the coal strip-mining project are completely fake news.

We're hoping that the FCC will let us use some of the coal to fill the sinkhole. If they don't approve that plan, we might have to divert a portion of the 1% of the funds donated to the Save Freehold Leadership PAC election fraud legal defense fund that are actually used to promote President Trump's legal challenges to the election to pay for a more geotechnically stable solution.
