    Movie that caught my interest

I just ended up watching a rather interesting movie the other night called The Omen. It's a sad story about a poor Christian boy who had the unfortunate chance to be adopted by a catholic family. When he refuses to follow his parent's beliefs they hire a catholic priest to torment and torture the boy by calling on the demons of hell to spawn. They constantly persecute him and blame all of their problems on him like when God has a woman put Damien's adopted mother down for all the atrocities that she's committed. At the end of the movie the adopted father finds that the priest secretly tattooed the devil's sign on the poor lad and is tricked in to trying to kill his own adopted son. Thankfully the boy was spared through the grace of God and an officer of the law shoots the father dead. The movie ends with the boy happy and holding hands with the president of the United States.
Only 2 in all of history have died for freedom all over the world... Jesus Christ and the American soldier.

That movie sounds terrifying. Jesus must have really hated that boy for sending him into the clutches of a family of Mary worshipers.

Now I'm going to have nightmares.

I assure you there was nothing homosexual about this movie. It was merely about a poor lad who was struggling against the cathylick church.

But cathylick and homosexual go hand in hand.

I have a serious question. What form of religion do you consider this? I'm assuming some form of protestantism, or it this a cult?

But to answer your question - if you can't figure out what denomination the Landover BAPTIST Church is, there really isn't much hope for you.

What kind of self respecting baptist would tell an unsaved person to say...

I know that I am worthless. I know I am completely pathetic and miserable, dirty, evil, sinful, disgusting. I am the lowest of lows. I am a worm. Less than a worm.

I suppose you've never heard of the doctrine of Total Depravity, or the Five Points of Calvinism? I suppose you've never heard the Salvation (or sinner's) prayer? Try googling that up some time

Heavenly Father, I know that I have sinned against you and that my sins separate me from you. I am truly sorry. I now want to turn away from my sinful past and turn to you for forgiveness. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ, died for my sins, that He was raised from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become my Savior and the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You and to convict me when I sin. I pledge to grow in grace and knowledge of you. My greatest purpose in life is to follow your example and do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Look up the doctrine of Total depravity and the Five Points of Calvinism.
