  • Public Notice: Floods cause no damage in Freehold

    I have received many phone calls this morning about the heavy rain and flash flood warnings for Freehold.

    I am pleased in inform our citizens that Freehold had no floods and no damage.

    The nearby suburbs, such as Urbandale, had flash floods with basement and automobile damage. Even though we are at a slightly lower elevation than Urbandale, we had no damage.

    I must point out that Urbandale presents itself as "secular" community. We in Freehold are Christian people.

    It is my personal belief that Jesus spared us from flood damage.

    I remain proud of our City of Freehold.

    All the best.

    JJH, Mayor
    Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

    Praise Jesus that Freehold was spared of this disaster.

    Is it not summer in the Northern flatlands right now?
    2 Chronicles 7:14
    14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land Australia.

      I believe there was some flooding in Negrotown and Steppinfetchitville, but the Negro side of the tracks is unincorporated county land.

        Probably Gods way of baptizing the more reluctant negroidals . . . .

        Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are unGodly among them of all their unGodly deeds which they have unGodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which unGodly sinners have spoken against him.

          Maybe, sometimes, I should be criticized for reading religious meaning into everything that happens.

          I can't help. It's just the way I see things. It seems to me thunder and lightning is the wrath of God speaking. Freehold was saved. Other places were not.

          How else could one interpret this?

            Brother Johny:

            Whilst I am yet to visit your great community I am relieved but not surprised that there was no property damage or casualties during this crisis as obviously you are Gods favorite Mayor in Gods favorite town

            Praise Jesus
            2 Samuel 22:31

            As for God, His way is perfect;
            The word of the LORD is proven;
            He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

              Why, thank you Brother Davidson. You made my day.

                I drove through our southwestern suburb today and noted West Des Moines (Beanerville to those of us who have been around awhile) is awash in the trashier sections.

                I hope it drives a bunch of those greasers back across the border.

                  Flooding is the worst natural disaster for negros, as none of them can swim. Not to mention, it cleans them off, which is a sign of weakness in their culture.

                    Well said, Brother Tannor. We need to be vigilant in Freehold to not allow any spoken Spanish anywhere. If we allow Spanish, then Chineese will be next and who know where it will end
