Sister Shirlee better be OK because her Words of wisdom are amazing, simply amazing. I am dumbfounded and speachless at my ignorance and need to keep reading. Obviously, it is people like her that can really help people like me who have health issues and cannot sit in church but can come here instead. I hope she comes back soon.

It was a busy day at the Monthly Visitor today, but I caught a break between Mrs. North's accidental spill on the Oriental rug in the Parlor and Miss Yashar's little incident in the Conservatory to run over to Sister Shirlee's cottage.

She was there . . . and definitely not dead!

She's had no Internet access for some time, after a tree fell in last winter's big ice storm and took out her phone line. She says she has at least a dozen articles written up, and is "ready to unleash 'em on an unsuspectin' world just as soon as them danged phone repairmen finish up"!

Oh, Pastor, she hasn't made it to services because her car was also in the path of the falling tree.

Fortunately, she still has lots of gas, and was able to keep warm and cook.
