LBC throws retirement party:

This just in....

In honor of his long and illustrious service to our Church, there will be a retirement party for Keith Jacobs tonight (Weds. 6th) at the East Freehold American Legion, 859 11th Avenue. Things get under way at 7:00 p.m. The Landover Cooking Circle has arranged a nice spread, and we have the keys to the barroom.

A video presentation featuring testimonials from various compatriots of Jacobs will be shown and should be a highlight.

Keith is justly reknowned for his ability to provide a good time for all friends, so this should be quite the shin-dig. Be there. (And you might want to clear out your schedule for Thursday morning.)

Just learned that Phil is retiring, too, so we're getting another cake and including him.

The party was a HIT!! Frances and Debbie brought their iPod and plugged it into the stereo. We were dancing until 10:30!

For everyone who didn't make it, there was sushi, sandwiches, and various other tasty bits.

Frank Watson found his way into the light booth and dazzled us with a light show (all of the lights were turned on).

The presentation of the gold watch was the highlight of the evening.
