To all the parents, supporters and fans of Freehold High School She-Bears, I thank you for all you do. The season opener last week was a successful launch of the new mascot, the She-Bear.

I'm concerned about a new practice at football games called tailgating. While I cannot say I've ever been to a tailgate party, I have come by some good information.

Sources tell me much of the tailgating is an excuse for sexual encounters. Frankly, the word used has been "orgy".

What we have had in Freehold is simply some parents bringing coffee and cupcakes to enjoy before the game. There is nothing "orgy-like" about these snacks. It's that one never knows where something innocent like this can lead.

It would be my hope parents and friends come to the football field and sit in the stands. Parking lots are where Satan does his business.

Pastor while in line at the Rexall drugstore I heard 2 day laborers saying that one had recently had been involved in a ''rear ender''and he was saying something about it being ''totaled''. Is this conversation I overheard more of this'' sodomy-speak'' you were referring to?

Mayor, wouldn't pre game gatherings be better suited for a prayer meeting. Getting Jesus on our side before the game starts!

There is nothing "innocent" about tailgating. Tailgating, as defined in the sinners dictionary, typically involves vast quantities of alcohol. Once drunk tailgaters will often proceed to have orgies and even gay sex. This is standard practice. While the tailgaters usually go to a less public venue after drinking to perform their devilish acts, it is still a terrible sin. There should definitely be laws preventing tailgating.

Leviticus 20:13 - If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

1 Corinthians 6:10 - Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Proverbs 23:19-21 - Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.

Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:

For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.

Mr. Fox--Your observations helped fill in my thinking on this.

I now realize tailgating has even more sinful origins than I first suspected.

Isn't it just like Satan to find something as innocent as a football game and discover a way to insert his dirty deeds.

I was pleased to read about another approach to the sinful practice of tailgating.

It is to invade the parking lot with gosple preaching and singing, calling out the sinful for their wicked ways. While I prefer my decision to ban them, this is another helpful idea:
