New Pledge to the Flag in Freehold Schools

    Dear Parents,

I had becoming increasingly angered at efforts in the United States to take out of our Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag the words, "under God."

Freehold has become known as a leader in this country in following Christian patriotic principles. For this reason, I have researched the issue and learned it is legal for us to introduce an addition to the Pledge to reflect the proper role of God in our schools and government.

The concept here is to, not only preserve God in the Pledge, but to add more of Him. That is, to mention God not once, but twice.

I am hereby introducing a new version of the Pledge of Allegiance that will be recited by Freehold children every morning before the beginning of their classes. Please practice this at home so it goes smoothly went they arrive at school. The Pledge reads as follows:

"I Pledge Allegiance to the Flag of the United States, and to God, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, with liberty and justice to all."

Thank you for your patriotism and support of our wonderful City of Freehold.

Why not something less country-focused and more Jesus-focused? After all, countries only exist until Jesus comes back.

Something like, "I pledge allegiance to the Savior of the United States of America, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, and to the Republic which awaits His return to unquestioned and absolute rule of the world, one worldwide nation, under God's Law, with Christian justice for all. And no Muslims or atheists. Amen."
    Bible boring? Nonsense!

You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

Certainly, a worthy thought, Rev. Rodimer.

I understand your concerns Brothers. I have a big problem with the English national Anthem. The words are telling our Lord what to do. Who are the English to tell God what to do? No wonder God has smited us all with bad teeth.

        The words are,

        God save our gracious Queen,
        Long live our noble Queen,

        God save the Queen
        :

        Send he
        r victorious,

        Happy and glorious,

        Long to reign over us:

        God save the Queen
        .

I have suggested the following verse be added,

But if You Our Lord sees fit,
Throw her in the fiery pit,
        God burn our queen,
        Where it is furnace hot,
        And the worms dieth not,
        An eternal Royal scream,
        God burn our queen.

I have sent numerous letters to Buckingham Palace, Downing Street
and also to the 2012 Olympic committee. They haven't said no yet so I'm quite hopeful,

I know God wouldn't let me believe in Him if He didn't exist.

          Dear Friends,

Just to throw my proposal in the ring:

The children should just say BIBLE BIBLE BIBLE 100 times, in gradually increasing and decreasing volume, from a whisper to a normal voice, to a shriek at the top of their lungs.

          The America part is implied.

          Yours in BIBLE!,
