Out of Town to Help a Fellow Mayor

This is to inform Freehold citizens about my absense from the Mayor's Office a couple of days this past week.

A friend of mine, Mayor Carl Scharff of Independence, IA, over in Buchanan County, was wrongly arrested for intoxication and disorderly conduct. I was able to get Carl's intoxication charges dropped and almost everything else taken care of.

I have made what might be called second career helping Mayors who are singled out by law enforcement for harassment. For whatever reason, beloved Mayors, working hard to help their cities grow, are often arrested for intoxication.

Like Mayor Scharff, they need a friend who knows his way around local courts to get these matters resolved.

God bless Mayor Carl for all he does in Independence.
