  • Prayer in Freehold Public Schools, Silence is Golden

To: Parents and Citizens of Freehold

From time to time, new folks move into Freehold and are surprised at what they find. They tell me teachers lead prayers to Jesus in classrooms and administrators pray over the public address system. Also, they tell me pastors from Landover Baptist Church are invited into classrooms.

This is the 50th anniversary of the ban on prayer in public schools in the United States. I'm always saddened by this Satan-based Supreme Court ruling. If prayers were conducted in Freehold Public Schools, we might have to go to court to explain what is going on.

That is why I urge citizens of Freehold to avoid discussions with outsiders about our fine public schools. If pressed, however, always remember the ruling allows students to pray in our schools.

Thus, when someone says, "Teachers lead prayers," that is not correct. What happens is teachers repeat what students say in their prayers. For this reason, Freehold Public Schools do not vilolate the no-prayer ruling.

One thing is certain, the "student prayers" have led to generations of True Christian™ adults. We can be proud of that.

My best to all of you for a wonderful summer.

After I posted this, one of our wonderful Chrisitan teachers called to remind me of something else.

Teachers who appear to be leading prayers in our schools may be saying prayers they know students would say if the students were praying. That helps make it even more out of reach for the courts.

Mayor, I am exceedingly grateful to be blessed to live in such a wonderful place! Why, just this morning I came across this commentary, written by a Godly man who overcame one of the most disgusting obstacles ever - a horrifyingly atheopathic mother:
Fifty years after the removal of prayer from America’s public schools in a case brought by my mother, Madalyn Murray O’Hair, there is virtually no safe place in America for children of any age, not in their schools, not even in their own homes.

America today is a society in which one of every 18 adult men is either in prison, on parole or under some sort of judicial oversight. There are almost daily reports of female teachers seducing young boys. Most children can’t walk to school because it is not safe. Public libraries now display the same gross pornography that landed Larry Flint in jail decades ago. Gambling, once outlawed in all but one of our states, is now a chief source of revenue for most states. Lotteries, the most abusive and dishonest form of gambling, is state operated and steals money disproportionately from the poor.

We in Freehold keep our children safe, and part of that includes keeping Jesus in School!

      Glory!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Praise Jesus for that! Biblical knowledge and prayer, like air, is vital to life. Like air, no one should be denied it. Why do these atheists and agnostics hate their children so much?

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. -- John 10:10
Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division - Luke 12:51
