I have to say, I love living in Freehold! God has blessed our little town and everywhere you look you see the peace and prosperity brought on by His good graces and President Bush's tax breaks.
To show our civic pride and to help our neighbors find those little treasures they might be otherwise missing, I thought it might be a good idea to have a series of polls to help uncover the Best of Freehold!
One thing everyone loves is a delicious plate of freedom fries, dipping them into a side of W Ketchup, and discussing the Lord with our friends and family. So to start us off, which establishment in Freehold do you think sells the best freedom fries?

Yes, I put my own personal favorite first. Large, hand-cut freedom fries made from fresh potatoes every day, with a King James at every table! You can't go wrong!

I chose O'Finnigans. The brothers O'Finnigan throw together a mighty hash, and what better way to mop it up than with some thick cut steak fries? The best thing about the fries at O'Finnigans is that they serve them with 3 different types of vinegar, mustard, horseradish, and even a curry-mayonnaise dip that is one creamy heaven!! (Ketchup is always on the table, but not recommended as a freedom fry condiment, as it is a paste of Chinese origin).

I see that The Monthly Visitor is not on your list, Sister M&M. Of course, our Freedom Fries are only available to ladies spending their time of the month with us, not the general public.

Speaking of which, are you STILL staying out in that old toolshed during your unclean time? If Mr. Whitford is broke again keeping you on a tight budget, I'm sure we can set you up with a nice yurt or something. I do hate the thought of you spending a whole week of every month surrounded by gardening implements and Juan, that scary-looking overbuilt Mexican gardener of yours.

I'm sorry I've not had the opportunity to try your freedom fries yet, which is why I put the "Other" option in.
As for the shed, I think you're remembering the one I had back when I was a mere Gold Tither. Once I married my husband, Mr. Whitford, and became a Platinum Tither, of course I immediately had a luxury shed built. Air conditioning, a jacuzzi, and even its own prayer closet. I'm sure your quaint 3-star inn is a magnificent getaway for Silver Tithing ladies suffering Eve's Curse, but I doubt it has the marble floors and gold-plated plumbing I can now afford as close as my own back yard.

But I'm sorry glad to hear the medication isn't working you have a lovely shed of your own. It sounds perfectly delusional delightful!

Well I'll tell you what, I don't like to brag (you all know that), but my best girl sister Thumper makes the best Freedom Fries in town. The first couple of times she undercooked them, but after I held her hand in the deep fryer for a minute (just so she'd get to recognize the right temperature for the lard) she never got it wrong again. Clever girl.

I like to live on the wild side a bit. I dip mine in a cup of mayonnaise.

If she were truly a clever girl, she would have used her other hand to throw the deep fryer at you.

If you wanted her to be able to instantly recognize the correct temperature for the grease, a cooking thermometer would have been a much better idea than a third degree burn.

2 Cor 12:20-21

I hope to visit Freehold someday soon, and look forward to trying the best of the best. Are there good hotels to choose from as well, Sister Mary Maria?
