Winter is Coming. A Little Reminder of Christian Life in Freehold.

I had to do something today no Mayor enjoys. I had to tell a young couple on Divine Street our City's crew will stop by and haul away their pile of fire wood.

Friends, the Bible tells us not to worry about tomorrow because the Lord will provide. (Gen. 22:14) Setting aside fire wood is a sign we do not believe what God has told us.

Freehold Power and Gas Utility has plenty of electricity and gas for citizens. Buying electricity and gas from your city means you do not have to defy God by demonstrating doubt that he will provide for you when the cold Iowa winter arrives.

Let me express again my appreciation to the good citizens of Freehold and my thanks for allowing me to be you Mayor.

    All the best.

Thank you Mayor Hold for this seasonal reminder. In the spirit of your message I am requiring all non factory insulation pulled from every trailor and RV in the park. Mobile home enthusiast can plug into the grid if they want to stay warm this winter and we carry extension cords at a very reasonable price in the camp store. Insulating a home keeps the stuffy old heat inside making the house smelly and uncomfortable. By removing the insulation you make room for fresh heat from your space heaters. Since the Lord will provide until judgment day there is no reason not to leave your heaters on all the time.

Freehold Bible Camp and RV Park wishes everyone a toasty warm winter!

Your Godly town must be a real treat in which to live. It also must be a real blessing for the residents to have such a saint as their mayor. I long for the day when I can get past the gates and walls and security forces and dogs and motion detectors and walk up to the door of my Freehold home. Until that day I wish you much success, Mayor. May you serve for many, many years.
      Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
      Amen and Amen

Thank you for those kind words. We are, indeed, a City with abundant freedom. The freedom is to obey God's rules, avoid sin and give until it hurts to Landover Baptist Church.

Mayor Hold, I'd like to take this opportunity to lobby for the removal of the wetlands behind Freehold Community Centre in effort to expand structural development for our power resource centre. Not only has the Lord instructed us not to worry, but He deliberately gave us the land as gift to do as we pleased with it. (Ecclesiastes 5:19) He wants us to destroy the ecosystems to demonstrate our blessed dominion and authority and honour our worship to Him for his free gift of prosperity.

I'm contacting the property developers Monday. Coffee?

Sure, Mr. Lombardo, I'd be glad to meet you for coffee. Call the Mayor's office the they will set something up.

I'm a little concerned about adding more power capacity while be still have some Freeholdians hoarding wood against God's commandments. It's hard for City Hall to sell power when citizens can get free heat from their unsightly wood piles.

Once again, man has absolutely no right whatsoever to be on the Earth! Additionally, you need to take a look at James 4:14. It reads; "For what is this life? Why, it is even a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanisheth without a trace!" But in addition to that, winter is a holy season, which is to be spent in total discomfort, weeping and mourning without stop, and it is to last from November 1st until April 30th!

What the hell are you talking about?

Also, please quote the ENTIRE verse:

"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."

Now it makes more sense, huh?

Oh, but then it doesn't flimsily support your weirdo theory...oops.

If fracking isn't a sign from God, I don't know what is. There is now an abundance of gas for heating, and the awesome strip mining for coal and the generation of electric power is just what Jesus had intended - just ask the Chinese. Not to mention that those old strip mines can be turned into vast recreation areas with lakes and ponds for fishing and boating.

Praise Jesus and our Godly Mayor!
                  Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
                  ...and get off my lawn
