Re: Tipping your waiter for good service.

I was just XO'd from the Red Lobster in the HE has Risen Shoppett off of Indian Massacre Rd and Leviticus Lane.

The manager was yelling something about a $835 lunch tab for 6 for the Ladies of Landover monthly brunch meeting.

I'm usually in charge of paying the tab. This time I left 3 particularly good Chick Tracts instead of a tip. The waitress began to cry and mumble something about being a single mom and raising 4 kids on her own and medical bills because one of them has some kind of medical condition.

The next thing I know the manager storms over and then in a raised voice tells me how rude and cheap I am and tells me to leave and never come back.

That's no way to treat a True Christian Lady. I am a PAYING customer.

Let em get this straight. You gave the waitress a tip that could turn her life around, then the manager threw you out and has the gall to complain? Was he mad that he might lose the waitress to Jesus?

Doesn't Landover LLC run the chain? Maybe a phone call is in order.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I'll send Brother BJ and his boys in security over there to straighten that out. I thought we had ordinances against hiring sluts in Freehold.

It's because of waiters like this that people don't like to tip when they go out to eat:

Re: Tipping your waiter for good service.

Tips are optional. I never tip unless my server is someone I know. They make make money from their employer, so why should I have to pay some lazy waiter, too? If they really wanted to make money they'd work harder/longer. I think the concept of a tip is something Jews created to steal money from us, hard working Gentiles. It works out for the Jews both ways; they don't have to pay as much and they probably make money by collecting a 'house fee' from the waiters. Tips are just un-Christian.

what noone seems to understand on here is that waiters dont get paid normal minimum wage their main payment comes from tips.. i know this cause my roommate is a waitress and she depends on tips to pay rent and other bills. since most of you people judge other.... all i can say to you and dont judge others based on what your party friends tell you.. my roommate works hard for her tips and she doesnt waist it on bull crap..

I don't know what happened. TurtleTip seems to be offline and I bought all of these tip cards, I guess that was just a waste. I'll probably keep handing them out since I already bought them.

Re: Tipping your waiter for good service.

I often leave a very nice tip.

Just last week, I took several major donors to dinner at a French restaurant in Indianapolis. Great food, great wine, about a $2,300 tab. We were there for about four hours, really ran the poor waiter ragged.

I left him a million dollar tip!

As we drove away, I saw him running behind the car, probably to thank me.

I don't tip at all anymore, especially in this economy. I figure they are all lucky enough to have jobs and should be thankful.

The last time I took Mrs. Porter out to dinner at the DQ, I tipped a healthy $1.50 on a ten dollar tab and got a snotty look from the waitress. And she was ugly.

                          I'm done tipping.

Of course I wouldn't leave a tip if the service failed or frustrated me. But if the waiter did his job well, it wouldn't hurt to leave a small amount. These people have to make a living. Put yourself in their shoes, what would YOU expect? You're not just paying for food. You didn't have to buy it, cook it, plate it serve it, or clean up after it. Most of the waiters I have are darkies, single mothers, or single darkie mothers. Tipping them would only encourage their sinful lifestyles. Surely what they make waiting tables and their government handout welfare checks are enough to support them. My 'tip' for them is this; keep doing a good job and you'll continue to have a job.
Psalm 137:9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.
