Maybe Haiti ran out of animals to sacrifice?

An interesting concept of voodoo belief is the ritual that takes place one year and one day after the decease of a relative. Voodoo belief states that there are two parts of the human soul. The two parts consists of ti-bon-ange (little good angel) and gros-bon-ange (great good angel). The gros-bon-ange is the body’s life force, and after death, the gros-bon-ange must return to the cosmos. To make sure that the ti-bon-ange is guaranteed a peaceful rest, the gros-bon-ange must be recalled through an elaborate expensive ritual involving the sacrifice of a large animal, like an ox, to appease the ti-bon-ange. If the ti-bon-ange spirit is not satisfied and given a peaceful rest, the spirit remains earthbound forever and brings illness or disasters on others.

THe one unique quality of Christianity is that it doesn't take $$ or any kind of weird ritual to be enlightened and healed. It is free.

It's not "interesting", it's blasphemy and a form of witchcraft.
Now, before posting further please post on the introduction forum so we can get to know you better.

Being a religion that converged with Catholosism, from what I've read about Hatian Voodou, I haven't seen any evidence of that religion worshoping Christ in the way they need to be worshopping him. i.e. Their view of him doesn't seem right at all. For many generations they show evidence of false teachings imo.

Why the heck would their be Voodooists on here? Voodooists are poor black people, and poor black people don't have computers.

You'd have better luck finding a golden retriever who can type online.

                  Wrong.

Christianity requires you to bring 10% of your gross income (money and goods) to the warehouse every year, this is to pay pastors, build churches, etc.

Three times a year at the festival in Jerusalem you have to pay for the expense of the festival (if you visit it).

Once every three years you have to pay the tithe for the poor.

You're also forbidden from gaining wealth.

If you are rich you have very little chance of going to Heaven.

And be aware that God gets very angry if you rob Him.
Malachi 3:8 Wil a man rob God? yet ye haue robbed me. But ye say, Wherein haue we robbed thee? In tithes & offerings.

So take out that credit card and send some money to God's favorite Church, the Landover Baptist Church!
                  Leviticus 26:15-16
And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

Christ rids the need for expensive, elaborate rituals to gain salvation. ANyone that tells you you need to spend $$ to gain salvation is lying. I believe the Hindus were taught to worshop Christ through the OT instead of the NT, and I think Catholosism has a hand in their misguidance.

Are you really that idiotic? Hindus don't worship Christ! They worship elephants, people with six arms, and Satan. Your obsession with "elaborate rituals" has obfuscated your understanding of world religion. You seem to think every pagan, voodooist, Satanist, etc. on earth follows the Old Testament.

The Voodouists are as primitive as the OT. THe OT does NOT provide the world with salvation. THe teachings of the NT works just fine without it.

Voodooism is not Christianity. I have no idea where you picked up this notion or who taught you it. It's really African Satan Worship disguised with Christian overtures so that they could sacrifice chickens to the Devil in secret.

Please tell me where Baron Samedi is mentioned in the Old Testament.

Voodouism merged with Cotholosism. Catholosism is very ritualistic, and I am thinking the Voodouists were steered towards the teachings of the OT as opposed to the teachings of the NT. Christianity is NOT about sacrificing animals, but the OT is. Teaching people to worshop God through the OT is misguiding people. The NT should be the only way to properly convert them to Christianity.
