Initiative 957 - Washington Defense of Marriage Alliance

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, it does my heart good to read of things like this.

DEFENSE OF MARRIAGE INITIATIVE ACCEPTED BY SECRETARY OF STATE
January 26, 2007

Seattle, WA – The Washington Defense of Marriage Alliance (WA-DOMA) announced on Thursday that their proposed initiative to make procreation a requirement for legal marriage has been accepted by the Secretary of State and assigned the serial number 957. The initiative has been in the planning stages since last July.

“For many years, social conservatives have claimed that marriage exists solely for the purpose of procreation,” said WA-DOMA organizer Gregory Gadow in a printed statement. “However, many stand idly by while couples marry and do not have any children. Benefits intended to serve families with children are going to those with none, and this squandering of resources and rewarding of childless fornication must stop. This is what the Defense of Marriage Initiative will do.”

True Christians have always known that the entire purpose of the Godly institution of marriage is to raise up good Christian soldiers for Jesus. Finally, a group calling themselves the Washington Defense of Marriage Alliance, in Washington State, are working to change the law to require that married people actually do have children!

For many years, people have gotten married with no intent of procreation; also, those who can't bear children (due to infertility or age) get married. These marriages are finally being exposed for what they are, a sham to either hide homosexuals, or obtain financial and other legal benefits, or simply legalize and "justify" lustful fornications through a mockery of Christian marriage!

Initiative 957 will:

• add the phrase, “who are capable of having children with one another” to the legal definition of marriage;
• require that couples married in Washington file proof of procreation within three years of the date of marriage or have their marriage automatically annulled;
• require that couples married out of state file proof of procreation within three years of the date of marriage or have their marriage classed as “unrecognized;” establish a process for filing proof of procreation; and
• make it a criminal act for people in an unrecognized marriage to receive marriage benefits.

I don't know about this one—it doesn't seem to say anything about keeping Christians from marrying non-Christians. But I agree that it's a step in the right direction!

Nor does it protect the sacred institution of concubinage. Still, I agree that it's a step in the right direction, since Scripture frequently says to "be fruitful, and multiply."

We must start somewhere, Sister!

I believe a next step would be to require that all weddings be performed in churches, rather than by "justices wanting a piece"!

Well I didn't know that; according to the Church newsletter all residents of Freehold are registered to vote in the state of Washington. Apparently threw the Power of Jesus Freehold is considered part of that state for these kinds of elections. Just remember to fill out those absentee ballets for yourself, your family and your staff as “Freehold, Washington” GLORY!

I am always amazed that states don't already have laws like this. I guess I spend too much time in Freehold. And I think we might even say that marriage without procreation is nothing short of prostitution. I would like to encourage every good Christian to review Ezekiel CH 23 just in case folks need a reminder of how GOD feels about loose women.

I've always thought a government program that finds matches, and disallows deviants to procreate would be good.

This would be very effective. Instead of ten children playing around mama's trailer while daddy was banging the lady down the street, they wouldn't be allowed to procreate at all. Steralizations at puberty after an IQ test would help too.

I think I may have proposed this before, because it's an idea that I've had kicking around for a while and I'm very excited about its potential...

I think America should begin a program of constant enforced pregnancy for every white Christian woman between 16-36. Each healthy white Christian woman could have 24 children in their 20 fertile years (taking one month off after each birth), after factoring in premature infants and inadvertent deaths of the breeding mothers.

Within 20 years America could have the greatest standing army in the world, fueled by this Complulsory Blastocyst Invitro Program (C-BIP). Then we can invade China and India, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity.
