I don't know, I mean, my boyfriend has always treated me as an equal, and I doubt that he would ever hit me because I follow a certain religion that says he should.

Not a problem as Jesus says that you are not equal because you are only a woman, so be very relieved that your boyfriend should not feel guilty about suitably disciplining you should you deserve it

On a side note as you are 18 you should be getting married and start bearing soldiers for Christ.

We are both eighteen, and we aren't married because we both have family in Europe so we are saving up to get married in Russia.
