Uhm. Now I do mean it sincerely. But I gotta say, it creates a sense or feeling of discomfort that you do not apologize in any way for what happened on your side, such as slandering my country, my country men, my friends, my family, and myself, and all the posts you (not you alone of course!). I would think that the perfect sign of a True Christian would be contrition, and not perhaps a sense of pride and surety in own righteousness and salvation.

Point is, it feels a bit weird to apologize if guys on the other side who hurt me does not do the same, or show any regret, whatsoever.

So, in the event anybody here said the slightest thing that was insulting or hurtful, in the pit of the heart, I assume there is a tacit apology, and no need to speak further of it.

Just forget it. I would suggest that you delete the other thread, about Denmark, and keep this one instead. I think you will find people much more agreeable, at least danes, if that were entirely gone from the forums, even if COM is worthy of all the respect in the world, it is a bit of a troublemaker, that particular one. It seems to have a way of setting Danish visitors on edge, even if that is not the intention that has been the result. I do not wish and apology, from anyone, but deleting that thread and starting over in this one would be a great boon, a great favor indeed.

Could you consider it at least?

Why, thank you for your unsolicited input into the running of our forum! Both threads are staying put.

I think you will find people much more agreeable, at least danes, if that were entirely gone from the forums, even if COM is worthy of all the respect in the world, it is a bit of a troublemaker, that particular one.

Denmark is a horrible, horrible country. I have heard that they are even trying to boycott the USA!

I say the only way to retaliate against these threats is to campaign for the president to launch a full-scale war against them! It should be easier, now that we got all of those troops out of Iraq.

Ok, that's up to you. I honestly think it would improve things around the forum, for you guys, not having to deal with so many angry people, even if it is a good test of patience, I guess one can only take so much.

Ok. What you said, was a slap in the face. So this is where I turn the other cheek. But I gotta admit these stabs in the heart or whatever you may consider them, are taking their toll on me, so I won't be able to have a constructive talk about Jesus much longer. Ok, still got some patience, I ask in all candour, how do I do that which you propose? How do I accept Jesus in the way I'm meant to do it?

I'm not sure I'm already baptized in the normal protestant church over here (the danish folkekirken, the 'folk/people church' literally). In another Church I went to (the Catholic) they said that was enough but I still had to do some sort of initiation proces. I didn't feel ready because I was immoral inside, still. Is there something about your way of becoming a Christian that changes the fact that I'm immoral inside, and don't know how or why that is, and don't know how to stop? I've given this a lot of thought, since I went through RCIA among the Catholics, but felt I wasn't a good Christian all the same, so I hope you do not see these questions as 'tricky' but more simply as a result of me having experience with the proces of becoming a Christian as an adult, and have questions in regards to the process

Can one become a Christian without giving up sin? If I am unable to do so, what is the purpose of doing something, like a ritual or what you have in mind when you say accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior

I just don't understand why what you have works when what the Catholics had didn't please remember I am new to your Church and still have a very outside, superficial look on it

I hope you can shed some light on these issues, as they are in fact of great concern to me

I'm not a Catholic. I never joined because I didn't feel good and moral enough. I don't mean by the standards of those who have scandalized the Catholic church, but what is required of ordinary members simply. I am constantly looking for insight into what salvation actually is.

Thanks for the good advice, as much as I can see there is a great deal of truth in it, I feel that I'm unable to take it deeply to heart and start practicing it from now on. It's not to be difficult, just some limitations I have realized that are there for me and that I need to respect.

Another reason God might hate Denmark is that we rely too much on wind mills and not enough on oil and gas power. Also I heard that in the big city they burn garbage and use that to heat water, which is recycling and not oil power, though due to some political stuff it still is mandatory to burn a certain amount of oil. I'm not sure but something has given me the impression God only truly loves a gas-guzzling nation.. I'm just trying to keep this thread alive over the other one lol...
