  • Do you rate the threads?

I try to do this as often as possible so that the good threads that praise Jesus stand out. I don't even bother giving one gold star to troll threads, if I could vote a lump of coal I guess I'd do that.

I was just wondering if other people do this because there's no counter for the votes.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Sadly Brother, I have to admit, I do not rate the threads though I am a proficient rep-er.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I rated this thread 5* because it is about rating threads. We are commanded to judge and we should do this more often.

The difficulty comes when some troll starts with the usual "I am gay, surely God loves me and everyone else including Catlix". As Nobar points out, this doesn't rate a lump of coal BUT, thereafter a True Christian™ may well reply and that would merit 5* - so where are we with this one?

If I vote %* and someone else votes 1*, does it average itself out? Can trolls vote? I hope not - universal suffrage, as God says, is the path to Damnation.

Just for S+G, I rated it a 4, two votes cast, 4.50 rating, so yeah a running average

Re: Do you rate the threads?

If a thread looks interesting with latent points available depending on responses I'd go 4 stars but can't see the point of a 3 star "average" rating. I'd assume if it wasn't rubbish and wasn't good or better it can only really be average.

I don't know if I rate the threads or not. I just let my fingers go where God tells them to go. Most of the time I just log in and start typing away without thinking. Jesus guides my hand and is my spell check.
