I also dislike violence. It is not nice nor comfortable but it is something that is an innate quality of God and a tool He uses to realize His Master Plan. It is thus necessary.

Exodus 9:15

Violence is not to be liked. It is to be accepted when God commands or utilizes it.

Violence is to be feared. It teaches us to fear God, to gain His conditional love and get to Heaven. It is that simple.

Where do you come from? Where do you worship Jesus? I hope the above helps you understand the that good and evil for God are not the same as for us.

Welcome! I'm glad to see you are starting to read it. But I hate having to spank children, but I know I must -- He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. Proverbs 13:24 Thus, we have to do the hard parts of the Bible, like understanding that naturally, women are inferior to men. For me, all it takes is faith to know my place and duties, for the Bible spells it out to me.

I do, in fact, believe myself inferior to my fiance. And I love him very much! I don't not agree with the bible, as I do not quite understand it yet. I was originally a methodist, but they leave a lot of info out.

Well, you got one big thing right! I got married a little less than a month ago, and I'd say a quick engagement is a good thing; I think our entire courtship to marriage took less than 7 months. That way, you can start bearing sons for the Lord's army asap. But you should first work on understanding the Bible and submitting to all the Lord's commands and the commands of your fiance.

This is good news! You've understood that many apparently Christian organizations DO leave out a lot of info regarding the Bible, i.e., the Will and Commands of God. They are no longer concerned about the fate of souls but about their popularity on Earth. They may be sincere in their efforts but that is no excuse. God does not approve!

In addition, these false Churches try to defend God and His deeds. The verses I quoted in my previous post are good examples. They clearly state that God can smite and slay whole peoples to advocate His will. This means collateral damage. The pharaoh had to be negotiated into submission. This meant collateral damage. Apparently innocent women and children suffered as God made His will known. Obviously, due to the original Fall they were NOT innocent but sinners practising idolatry and deserving of Hell. God does not need us to defend Him. He requires us to ACCEPT His deeds and methods. When you go further and gradually read the WHOLE BIBLE, you'll understand this. And if you gain entry into Heaven you'll understand the collateral damage that at the moment saddens me, as well. It seems terrible but I TRUST GOD. All this suffering that seems unnecessary now will be a glorious manifestation of God's Plan once we are explained the details during our eternal stay in Heaven. Jesus will prepare us some delicacies and God will take care of us if we're upset.

Revelation 7:17

Forget the 'liking' and defending God. Just accept and learn to cherish His methodology. He'll explain His rationale to us in due time!

First of all, we do not discuss "religion" here, we glorify our Savior Jesus Christ, the only true way to Heaven. How do I know this? John 14:6 declares it so! Since God is the creator of this universe (Genesis 1:1), don't you believe He has the absolute right to utilize any technique He wishes in HIS world? He does so because He is just (2 Chronicles 20:12). It matters little that you disagree with Him, for our Lord is sovereign and all-powerful. As long as you serve Him completely, He will love you with the strongest love you have ever felt. It just seems logical that if you do not give Him your all, He has every right to crush you like a gnat. Praise our Wonderful Heavenly Father! Oh, how I love Jesus!

Next, how can you not know what to "say here?" It is clearly illustrated for you above. "Introduce yourself, tell us what church you go to, what your favorite Bible verse is, and how you came to find Jesus." So simple.

I will pray for you as an honorable mention in my prayer list, but I will not elevate you to the ranks of fervent prayer until you prove you are not a retarded.
