Because they know that nobody understands love and compassion better than a True Bible Believing Fundamentalist Christian, they try to appeal to our sensitive sides by saying that these gays are in "love" with each other. And this is ROMANTIC love we're talking about here, not brotherly love.

This is, of course, complete nonsense. Romantic love can only exist between a man and a woman. Period.

I would imagine there are some gay couples out here in Iowa who are filing for divorce at the same time they're filing for marriage licenses, just to save time!

Also, 79% of closed-coupled gay men acknowledged at least one incident of nonmonogamy in the previous year. Compared to 10% among married heterosexuals and 23% among cohabiting heterosexuals ((Blumstein & Schwartz, 1990).
