Dick Cheney used to epitomize everything that is good and holy about God's Own Party, but now he comes out with this! I can only imagine that his lezbertarian daughter sneaked some homosexual recruiters into the house in the middle of the night.

We already have freedom for everyone. Everyone is free to enter into a Divinely approved marriage between a man and a woman who submits to him as though he were Jesus Christ (provided neither of them is divorced), even if they have to mortgage the house to pay B.A.S.H. fees first.

Cheney Supports Marriage Special Privileges for Homers
By Kerry Elevenses
Former vice president Dick Cheney, the man whose conservative credentials are unmatched and who presently commands more air space than any Republican on the national stage, took a vocal stand in support of marriage equality Monday while at the National Press Club for the Gerald R. Ford Foundation journalism awards.
"I think that freedom means freedom for everyone," Cheney replied to a question about recent action on the issue at the state level, reports The Huffington Post. "As many of you know, one of my daughters is gay and it is something we have lived with for a long time in our family. I think people ought to be free to enter into any kind of union they wish. Any kind of arrangement they wish. The question of whether or not there ought to be a federal statute to protect this, I don't support. I do believe that historically the way marriage has been regulated is at the state level. It has always been a state issue and I think that is the way it ought to be handled, on a state-by-state basis. ... But I don't have any problem with that. People ought to get a shot at that."
