Did not God command us to love our neighbor as ourself? Although I agree that homosexuality is a sin, there is nothing wrong with befriending homosexuals and showing them God's love.

"Go ye unto all the Earth and preach the Good News."
Shoving down one's throat is not the same as preaching. If one really wishes to make a difference in the world and convert people to Christianity, then one must learn to accept people as they are, tell them what you believe and why, and then act out your beliefs in your everyday life. The person is much more willing to listen to a Christian that doesn't hate them for their sin and is always doing their best to live up to what they believe.

There are no queers who are my neighbors. Jesus did not mean for us to mollycoddle filthmongers, idolators, sodomites, and so on. Read the KJV Bible! Stop cherry-picking verses to suit your intolerance!

Jesus never gave such advice. Jesus CHANGES people, He doesn't accept them in their sinful state. He washes us clean of sin with his blood! Don't you know anything about the Bible?

But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.--Luke 19:27

Let me ask you a hypothetical question. If you had a freind who was drunk, and about to get behind the wheel of his car and drive, would you "accept him" as he was? would you tell him "Sure! Go ahead and have another drink of whiskey! I hate drunk drivers, but I love YOU?" Of course not! You would do anything in your power to get those keys away from him and set him right.

Well, that is exactly what we do at Landover Baptist. We do not think that sugar coating God's Truth will help anyone get Saved. We are serious about God's Divine Plan. You should be too.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

You know, I really would go through and provide explanation for everything you're arguing me about, but I really despise that half the things I said were taken grossly out of context to better suit your end of the conversation.

Though I will say this to Jeb: I was referring to God the Father, not to God who spent time on this Earth as man. So sorry if this confused you. :]

          Ahh... I missed this line:

"Get that music out of your heart and enthrone the Jesus of True Christianity™, I say!"

The phrase "MusicInHerHeart" is an analogy. For me, Jesus is the music that sings its sweet melody in my heart. I am starting to come into a place of leadership within my church as head of a group of worship dancers. Whenever I listen to a song, Jesus puts a picture in my mind of me dancing with the young girls I'm leading to the music. He shows me beautiful choreography, which I know I would never be able to create of my own accord. Before I go to sleep every night, I lie in bed for a time and simply allow awesome presence of God to wash over me, and sometimes I can hear the song He sings within me. That is what I mean by having "music in my heart;" my God is building up my own song for me, and it's beautiful.

What lovely sentiments, MusicInHerHeart. I myself have attended performances of the ABT, Kirov and Bolshoi to the music of some of the masters, Delibes, Minkus and Adam.

I have had some of the same thoughts. Indeed, if you think of it the whole barbaric process of crucifixion is one of screaming agony - from the scourging at the pillar to nailing to a cross. What a delight to think that Jesus could do a fouetté rond de jambe en tournant to a nice valse lente up to Calvary, and then top it all off by rising on the third day with a grand jeté entrelacé from the tomb.

            Glory!
            Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
            ...and get off my lawn

Nah,I dont "feel" like you people. Emotion is a wast of time, energy, and mind. Why would athiest take god out of the school,we dont care that you belive in god just dont make us belive in him. Thats what it was. We CHOOSE not to belive in him yet you keep trying to force us to belive. Not the way it works sir.

                Friend,

You do realize that by proving God doesn't exist you proves He does? The very fact of your disbelief is a testimony to the power of our Lord. Socialize that comrade!

You speak as if there are two of them. Don't you know that the 10 commandments says you're not worship other gods?

I'm starting to seriously doubt how committed to Christianity you are.

                  1. Do you support bringing Biblical Law to the United States of America?

                  2. Do you believe that homosexual acts deserve capital punishment?

                  3. Do you believe that allowing blemished people to approach the altar at church is an abomonation?

                  4. Do you support the wartime rules of engagement given to us by God in the book of Joshua?

                  5. Do you believe that Slaves should obey their master as they obey Christ?

I could go on all day, but there's no need because I doubt you are strong enough in your faith to agree with all of the abve statements.
Hey Jeb, why arn't these on a sticky somewhere for the retards who visit can see if the y truly are commited christians.

Nonsense; it goes like this; you disprove the existence of God using logic. Well God is logic that means God exists.

                          "Worship dancers"?

A picture in your mind of yourself firmly directing and disciplining a group of nubile young females, clad in tight-fitting leotards, with thumping Negro jungle beats in the background?

And you have these perverse imaginings every night before you go to sleep, lying alone in the dark, until you are immersed in waves of pleasure?
