  • Hello fellow worshippers!

    Good afternoon all!

I have stumbled upon your site thankfully through the light of christ. I am a devout Christian but I am very much interested in joining this church. The views expressed on this site reflect my own to a calibre no other group of christians have been able to match. Just wanted to introduce myself and share with you one of my favorite verses:

    1 Timothy 6:12

12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

    God Bless!

    Welcome.
    Tell us more about yourself.

HE took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha Cumi; which is,
being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise!...Mark 5:41

      Re: Hello fellow worshippers!

Well, Talitha, I grew up in a small town in Texas. I followed the Lord throughout my entire life and regularly attended church groups after school. I recently moved to Colorado which I didn't quite like at first but my work mandated that I move here (I am a theologist and the town I'm in now is a lot more in need of God's messengers than in Texas so i was relocated out here!) so I stuck it out and now I love it! I regularly hike up the mountains where I usually find anywhere from one to several young adults to which i preach the Good News too. I've made lots of good, honest friends that way and wouldn't have my life any other way!....I appreciate the speedy reply Talitha, I am looking forward to my stay here :-D

I'm surprised that Ezekiel 25:17 isn't your favorite. It's one of mine!

And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
I'm printing it on greeting cards to send to the 219.
        Bible boring? Nonsense!
Try Bible in a Year with Brother V, or join Shirlee and the kids as they discuss Real Bible Stories!
You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

That is an excellent idea Reverand!....and yes it is my indefinite favorite but I figured that with it being my user name, i had better pick a different one to quote!

            Hello and welcome, Brother!

            1 Timothy 6:12

Well, if you want to join God's Favorite Church, one thing you really have to learn is to quote from the True Bible™ (the 1611 KJV). I've fixed it for you here. One of Satan's biggest successes has been the spreading of perverted Bible versions, to draw people away from the Truth™ of Christ as described in the KJV.

Anyway, people make mistakes, especially when they are maybe not True Christians™ yet. Jesus died for a Reason, didn't He?

Anyway, are you a Baptist? What is the name of your church? What are your views regarding Salvation™?
            Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
            Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

            Amen.
