Oh Professor, this isnt negative, its a simple logic, all children deserve life and love, not left to suffer and die. And converting to your church would not do anything as I already believe in God and his Son Jesus Christ. so no point there.

I just cant accept how you people cannot show love and compassion to these people and give them a chance! I could never allow a handicapped baby, an innocent to die! Thats purely wrong, you would put all of your energy into helping it every step of the way, or am I wrong to do this? And Angel what's wrong with loving and helping your Father you cant just give up, how do you think he feels, knowing his own flesh and blood has abandoned him in a sense?

He doesn't Need God, he needs you. and that's all he wants!

You people make me sick, I have had a near death experience as a child, but the Lord saved me and with my parents love I Cherish life. You are all disgusting no decent human being would agree to this, NONE! You are Not decent, YOUR BEASTS!

branch. My father is very ill. For a long time I pitied him.But pity is not the way to go. Maybe it's my fault my father is ill. But I am sure that pity and coddling is the wrong way to go.

I am a decent human being, trying to live to God's will. The family here care. But sweet talking is not the way God wants us to be.

We do not make people suffer. God does. I do not make my children sick when they have a cold. I do not toss them from a tree upon the ground and break a limb.
You nearly dying as a child was a taunt for your parents, to make them wisen up. Apparently, they did not, hence the CP.

the question my brother was earlier asking, the catch 22, what if you were to have a child born handicapped. would you put your love to the child or hold true to your values and despise the child?

That was the question you people have yet to answer, and you cannot say you will never have a chance of that happening, because we all do!

Personally, I'd be heartbroken if my child was born incorrectly. I would know it was my own fault and it would be a sign that I had committed a horrible sin. Thankfully this is all hypothetical, since none of us here at LBC has ever gone against God's wishes in such a way. Yes, a cripple child is a sign you need to set yourself right with the Lord.

As for the cripple kid himself, of course I would love him as a father should love his child. I'd make no allowances for him, I'd treat him as any other child. I'd teach him the laws of the Lord, and that if he himself does not love and serve God he suffer for all eternity. When he does something wrong, I will punish him with a firm hand. I'd make sure he understands he is the way he is because of a divine punishment. Always I would make sure to pray along with telling him to pray to be cured, and if he continues to not be cured until adulthood, than it must be a sign God actually does hate the child as much as he hates me.

You people seem to preach that it was the fault of the parents that a child would be born handicapped! we are all born without sin. so how can you respond to that?

It is the fault of someone.

For a baby, it is usually due to the sins of the parents. It could also be due to the sins of a sibling, grandparent or even God just being PO'd.
When a person is crippled later in life, then the cripple may of sinned and there by felt the wrath of God if it was not brought down by others.

This is not the same question your brother Vince stated earlier.
We believe if God hates it, then we shall too. What this means is, no special accomodations. Treatment is the same for all. If a person cannot take care of themself, they might die. God made them deforemed to die a slow death, so be it.
