Following your logic, however, is exactly what Mr. Smyth is doing. You see the foolishness in his connection, but not yours, even though his points and your points are both connected by the same logic. This is called "cognitive dissonance" and reflects the fact that you hold two diametrically opposing ideas, but the belief in both are so strong that you are unable to see the discrepancy between them. There is a way out, that is through faith in Jesus Christ. You too can be free from cognitive dissonance just like Mr. Smyth and any True Christian™ is. By holding only one view, the LORD of Lords is revealed through His Holy Bible (King James Version, of course). By reading, believing, and trusting in His Holy Word, you can be free from this mental confusion and be saved from an eternity of Hell for rejecting the LORD.

Mr. High, you seem terribly confused. The LORD Himself dictates the circumstances of worship. He then willed that these dictates would be recorded in the Holy Bible for our good. If you don't trust Him, if you don't love Him, you can't obey Him. Then your praise is naught but a bunch of clanging noise. (1 Corinthians 13:1)

Those are con artists that lie when they say they love Jesus just to make money from naive, false Christian fools.

God tells us very clearly in what manner we are to sing.

Ephesians 5:19 "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;"

There is no mention of wearing costumes and making screeching and repulsive noise like those freaks do.

Georgia, if you will take the time to click on Pastor Ezekial's link (that I quoted in the post before yours), you will find hard evidence that "Crock" bands are really Satanists in lamb's clothing.

I recommend asking your husband to show you how to do a search on "Stryper" and "Jars of Clay" on that page so that you will no longer have to assume your position on this matter.

Matthew 16:13-23 has an amazing dialogue, between Jesus, Peter and Satan:

13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not REVEALED IT unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on eart youall be loosed in heaven.
20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

A few interesting things about Matthew 16:

In verse 17, Peter had a direct revelation from God — " . . .for flesh and blood hath not REVEALED it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven." Again, notice God "REVEALED" it unto Peter.

But look what happens in verse 23! Just seven verses later! Jesus addresses Peter as Satan! Satan had completely taken over Peter! Notice — God "revealed it" unto Peter, but Satan "completely took over"! Peter became a third-party when Satan TOOK OVER!

I suspect that the problem with rock music may indeed lie with Peter's posession by Satan at this point. Peter's name actually means 'rock' and Jesus plays with this when He says "Thou art Peter (petros) and upon this rock (petra) I will build my church."

(Because Jesus is the Living Word of God, it is always important to notice when He makes Holy Puns.)

As soon as He announces this intention, Satan subverts His divine will by posessing Peter. This explains a LOT about the Mary Worshippers, who claim that the Catholic church was founded by Peter, for the church was then ALSO FOUNDED BY SATAN.

I suspect that there is something deeply symbolic playing out here. After all, every human has feet of clay, but Peter and those named Peter are actually 'Rock', the diametric opposite of Heaven itself. Everything named "rock" seems to be tainted by Satan. Rock Hudson = Homersexual. Rock music = Satanic; often homersexual. Cathylick church = outlaws the sacrament of marriage for its own clergy, thus attracting homersexuals and Satanic pedophiles. Peter Griffin = gluttonous, Satanic, repressed homersexual.

Notice also that these examples I named have in common with rock music one very dangerous aspect: they exist primarily to corrupt our youth away from Christian ideals and make big money doing so.

Can you smell what the rock is cooking? I can. Brimstone.

The Lord Jesus Christ is not popular with the world, (John 15:18) and is getting less popular every day, yet the popularity of Christian rock music(satanist music) seems to know no bounds.
