    The timing of God's anger.

I was reading Brother V's Day 240 lesson (from the excellent Bible in a Year forum) where I happened upon the following marvel (emphasis mine):

... and, of course, destruction ensues.

The workings of God's Mind is a beautiful mystery. I've always wondered how He time manages his anger; for example, He knows His prophets will be ignored, so does He allow Himself to become angry only when the ignoring officially takes place? Or, because He knew since the beginning of time that His prophets would be ignored, did He become angry prior to the creation event itself?

So, does He have a eternal slow-burning anger with the occasional wrathful outburst, or does He sort of "surprise" Himself with His anger -- like a dog chasing its tail (please forgive the comparison), pretending unto Himself that every wrath-inducing event is something new? I imagine the latter would make His existence more interesting.

I'm going with extreme slow-burning anger. How could God surprise himself? He is omniscient.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

      Shout Glory, Mrs. Rogers!

I love the Edwards classic. Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.

Modern preaching just isn't up to snuff in comparison. I mean, Pastor Steven Anderson and Rev. Phelps are pretty good, but they pale in comparison to the master himself.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.
