Brother, it's okay to swallow! Jesus invites us to drink His blood and eat His flesh.

I understand, but by not swallowing I would keep the delicious taste of His blood in my mouth until God pulls the plug on Heaven!

Hebrews 10 makes it clear that Jesus was the perfect sacrifice of Himself to Him/God.

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; (who is Jesus!)

Preach it, Pastor! Note to Catholics: That's "one sacrifice for sins for ever," not "three sacrifices every Sunday and holy day of obligation, and you still have to go to confession to make it really work."

I've been daydreaming for the last 10 minutes about being held tight against Jesus' bosom in Heaven, while I whisper praises and thanksgivings into His ear, reminding Him how great He is. Pleased with my righteousness and my insatiable yearning to have Him inside me, Jesus runs a knife across His palm and fills a golden goblet with His Blood. I take the goblet from His hands, take a huge swig, and spend the next 500 years gargling Sweet Savior Blood, droplets running down my cheek and chin.

Heaven is going to be so awesome.
