Howdy all! As you know, I am from Texas and the second biggest religion after Christianity here is High School Football!
Friday nights are the biggest night of the week as the whole town comes out for the game. Now, we were at my little brother's game a couple days ago and it's an established tradition that football teams pray together for victory before a game. Our team (the Mustangs) sat in the locker room and prayed to Jesus to grant them a victory. But, I also saw the rival team (the Grizzlies) on the field just before kickoff, heads bowed in prayer, in a circle.
So, how does God decide which team will win? I mean, they both can't win, so he's going to have to ignore one team. How does He decide? Is it who prays the hardest and who is most pure? Or does He go on total amount of prayers, like if one team has more people praying for them, they win.
I can't find the answer to this in my Bible. Please help. I'm curious.
