How does God decide which Football Team will win the game?

Howdy all! As you know, I am from Texas and the second biggest religion after Christianity here is High School Football! Friday nights are the biggest night of the week as the whole town comes out for the game. Now, we were at my little brother's game a couple days ago and it's an established tradition that football teams pray together for victory before a game. Our team (the Mustangs) sat in the locker room and prayed to Jesus to grant them a victory. But, I also saw the rival team (the Grizzlies) on the field just before kickoff, heads bowed in prayer, in a circle.

So, how does God decide which team will win? I mean, they both can't win, so he's going to have to ignore one team. How does He decide? Is it who prays the hardest and who is most pure? Or does He go on total amount of prayers, like if one team has more people praying for them, they win.

I can't find the answer to this in my Bible. Please help. I'm curious.

Which team has the Godliest defense? Which team uses the Holy Word of God to plan it's attack?

Which team celebrates the way God wants them to after a victory?

1 Kings 16:18 And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king's house, and burnt the king's house over him with fire, and died.

The winner of the game is decided by two things and two things only the skill of the players one each side and luck. God is not involved.

I see that you're already banned, but would any other Christ-haters care to prove that God isn't involved?
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. I believe Hayden Fry and God had a very close working relationship and that is why God often chose the University of Iowa to be victorious in football games.

Sometimes, God chooses Northwestern or Wisconsin to be the victor, but that only occurs when God wants to punish the Godly Fry's successor, Kirk Ferentz, from getting too uppity.

God laughs at Iowa State University and makes them lose on a regular basis.

the onion was actually right, because both luck and skill are determined by God, who otherwise doesn't play football because He is Timeless but footballs are creatures.

I've watched many many many many many games of youth football, baseball, swimming and wrestling, and I have some very strong opinions about what God is looking for in young athletes.

In football, like other sports, the uniform is a key factor. If the uniform shows the boys' faith and confidence in God's plan, the other team will see this. A well placed verse on a football helmet, or a strategically placed cross on a diving Speedo can mean the difference between coming first or finishing yourself last.

I think he counts up the sins committed by players and staff for the week. The team with the lowest total will be victorious.

Erhm, I'm actually not sure if this is a serious question -
because don't you think our holy Father has other things to decide/do something about?
However, to give my personal opinion about this -
I think he just gives both teams the same amount of luck, than let them
play a match, and see who will win this by looking which team has the
                  most football skills/talent.
Or at least something like that, by the way sorry for my English,
I am not from the United States of America.
Actually I am but I moved to The Netherlands when I was only 2-3 years old.
