Leviticus 26:27-29
27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

Why do I make Jesus cry? Is praying to him bad?Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Re: Pastor Deacon Fred on Mary Worshiping Papists
Let me help cure you of your misconceptions; Catholics do not worship Mary. When we pray to her we are asking that she prays for us to our Lord. It is the same as asking a friend to pray for you. Catholics pray directly to God and Jesus and we ask Mary and the Saints to pray for us as well because we believe faith and prayer is an essential part of a community and we have a duty to pray for one another.Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

This is why you are going to suffer in hellfire. There is no middleman to Jesus either you obey Gods word to the letter as written in the KJV1611 and also talk to Him directly or you suffer the consequences.

I've seen some catholics talking to statues. I've even seen some of them holding the statue's hand as they look into it's eyes and have a chat with it. Are you guys nuts?Originally posted by Proud Catholic View PostLet me help cure you of your misconceptions; Catholics do not worship Mary. Re: Pastor Deacon Fred on Mary Worshiping Papists
Good Grief did you actually read what I wrote? Mary is not a middleman and I do speak directly to Jesus and God. Praying to Mary would be the same thing as me asking you to pray for me. (Which I wouldn't do) I refuse to follow the KJV by the way. Protestants removed seven books. I prefer the full unadulterated word of God.Originally posted by SayvedByTheLord View PostThis is why you are going to suffer in hellfire. Re: Pastor Deacon Fred on Mary Worshiping Papists
Were they actually talking to the statues or were they praying by a statue? There is a differance. We have statues as objects to help focus our minds. We don't pray to them. They are physical reminders. When you look at a painting or a picture are you worshipping it? No, looking at it helps you think of what that picture or statue represents.Originally posted by Deaner View PostI've seen some catholics talking to statues. No, they were talking to it. Yakking away, smiling and rubbing it's hand. Then they gave it some money. I didn't hear what they were saying because I was trying not to pee myself laughing.Originally posted by Proud Catholic View PostWere they actually talking to the statues or were they praying by a statue? It's good to know you follow the Bible. What do you think of Mary when you read this quote...Originally posted by Proud Catholic View PostI prefer the full unadulterated word of God.

Re: Pastor Deacon Fred on Mary Worshiping Papists
Praying to the statue itself. Praying to a peice of ceramic is blasphemous. No Catholic would ever do that. Its one of the ten comandments. We pray to what the statue represents. If it is a statue of Jesus we are praying to Jesus. If it is a statue of Mary we are praying to Mary asking her to pray for us to God.Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

You seem to be proud of your lack of faith in our Lord Jesus. True Christians™ pray directly to Him, we don't need idols to help us "focus".
You also need to turn on your spell checker.
