While my prayers are certainly with Gov. Sanford, I'm concerned that he chose to stray off of Gods Path with a catlick hussy. Is it more of a sin to commit adultery with a Godless papist? I honestly do not know and would appreciate any knowledge form more learned LBC members.

I think we shouldn't rush to judgment on Governor Stanford here. The man has a lot of enemies after he refused Obama's nanny state "stimulus" package. I am willing the give Standford the benefit of the doubt here and accept he was forced into this "relationship" by the Argentinian harlot.

The concern I have is Gov. Sanford visited the woman at least 7 times, and continued the affair after his wife asked him to stop.

This is not merely an indiscretion, but an act he willfully repeated. I'm not saying he cannot be forgiven, but he will have to ask forgiveness from God as well as make amends to his wife and family.

I am less concerned about his indiscretions with state money, but he has to address that as well.
