humanist: asking my catholic friend to got to casino?

My name is Jeroen, 19 years old, living in Amsterdam.
We decided to go to the casino, just with friends for one night.
All of my friends are humanists or atheists, except for one of us.
One of my friends is catholic and it would be fun he will join us too.

Something tells me that catholics can't join gamble games...
So I did not ask him to join us, just to be sure I don't insult him.
On the other hand, he doesn't seem to be very a fanatic christian.
Altough he goes to church, reads the bible and is very sure he is a believer, he also drink alcohol, smoke weed and has one-night-stands just like a normal teenager does.
I guess a night of gambling is quite innocent comparing with the previous things.

What do you think? Should I ask him to join us, with a chance I insult him? Or should I not ask him to join us, with a chance he will feel stand out of the group?
Thank you for your oppinion about this problem!

P.S: Excuse me for my bad language, I live in The Netherlands. English is not my mother-language.

If there is anything worse than a Catholicker It's an Atheist.
You all deserve each other, friend.
I suggest you all go to to the Casino and lose all your money on Gambling, Drugs and Whores.
    Especially the Mary Worshiper.
You'll all end up Burning in Hell anyways.

    God Bless

You have a bad choice of friends. What exactly is your own religion?

So you think it is a bad idea?
It doesn't cover my question completely,
but thank you anyways for your respond.

Casino's in The Netherlands are quite clean, that means no whores and no drugs dealing. It even has an expensive restaurant and the casino's are running by the governement, that means they don't make much profit out of guests. Casino's is not all about gambling, it's also dancing, dining and socializing.

In fact, I'm not an atheist, I'm an humanist.
However I don't like your language in your respond, I do respect your believe.

To make things sure: I'm not here to offend anyone, I just need some advice.

Excuse me if I hurt anyone's feelings.

Why do you think we would know or even care about Catholics, Atheists or Humanists?
          They are all false religions.

I'm sorry, I read my post over and I made a mistake.
That peron is not catholic, but christian.
I said he was christian once, but i also said that he is catholic a couple of times...

            Sorry for this mistake.
I'm sure he's christian, he also goes to a christian school!

I hope this makes more sense!

It stopped making sense once you started talking. Why are you a humanist? Do you hate Jesus?

My advice is to stop worrying about your hellbound friends and start worshiping Jesus. Surely there must be at least one Independant Baptist Church over there in Europistan.

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

Re: humanist: asking my catholic friend to got to casino?

Tell your "Christian" friend to read the Bible:

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

He cannot be your friend and Christian at the same time, sorry. God says it's not possible.

The best thing you can do is surrender to God yourself. Then you can both be Christians and both go to Heaven together instead of both going to Hell together.
I take my orders from Jesus H. Christ, supernatural born US citizen

Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
                    Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

                      Yes.

It's a bad troll that cannot even keep his own story straight.
