What is there to be proud of in that? If I am mistaken perhaps you could point out where I've gone wrong. It is not my intention to attribute the monumental blasphemy of idolatry most especially involving idols of Jesus where is is unwarranted.

Meanwhile, I am very eager to discuss some facets of the Catholic fate and your Muslim Pope with you. Please, I've tried to ask many other members of your cult about these issues but they avoid them. So, please explain the following strange and fearsome aspects of your doctrine to me and my Brethren:
- Atheists can be Saved by your doctrine (you don't have to believe anything and you still get to go into Heaven; Jesus disagrees in John 3:18).
- Muslims can be Saved (you can deny the Trinity and the Divine Nature of Christ and still go into Heaven; Jesus disagrees in John 3:15-18).
- The only Truth™ is evolution (you can disregard the Fall [Genesis 3:6] and the need for reconciliation, i.e., Jesus; Jesus disagrees in John 3:16-18).
Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Yours in Christ,
Elmer

Such a shame about the derelict dockyards in the background.
I was surprised, though, to learn that (as recently as the 1960s) an Anglican cathedral had a bishop who was both an American and a Roman Catholic. This only goes to confirm that the Church of England remains, at heart, a papist tool.

It boggles my mind that these self proclaimed followers of the Bible, like this one, can so easily dismiss that same Bible. This John should read Exodus 34:14, it´s in the second chapter. This makes me think: How much of the Bible did he read anyway?
Kind regards,
Roland

Welcome to the forum. Is copy-pasting the only thing you can do? Do you even understand what you posted? Anyway, this is a friendly forum and when you join you are expected to have some forum decorum. That would include you introducing yourself in the introduction forum where you can start your own thread and tell us a bit about yourself. It´s a polite thing to do.
Kind regards,
Roland

2nd Sunday of Lent
This is my beloved Son. (Matthew 17:5)
Jesus’ Transfiguration was one of the most magnificent displays of God’s glory the world has seen. The purpose of the Transfiguration was to give his apostles, and all of us, a deeper understanding of who he is. So let’s see what we can learn from it.
Clearly, this was a dramatic revelation for Peter, James, and John. They never forgot what happened that day. Decades after it happened, John wrote, “We saw his glory” (John 1:14). Peter said, “We had been eyewitnesses of his majesty . . . when that unique declaration came to him from the majestic glory” (2 Peter 1:16, 17). The Transfiguration showed them that the kingdom of God that Jesus had been preaching would be characterized by glory. But it also encouraged them and strengthened them for the ordeal of the cross that lay before them. For as they learned at Calvary, the glory of God comes not only through displays of magnificence, but also through self-giving love—a love that embraces even death.
The Holy Spirit wants us to learn both of these concepts of glory. He wants us to see that Jesus is glorified every time we worship him at Mass and in prayer, and he is glorified every time we go out of our way to help someone. He is glorified when we reverence him during Eucharistic adoration, and he is glorified every time we confess our sins or forgive someone who has hurt us.
Let these lessons about glory and self-giving love sink into your heart. As you dwell on the glory of Jesus’ Transfiguration, see that it is a glory that comes because of his cross. Then, tell him that you want to be changed into his glorious image. Ask him to take your every act of love and fill it with his presence. It really is possible for us to live “for the praise of his glory” (Ephesians 1:12).
“Jesus, open my eyes to the glory that you displayed before Peter, James, and John. Let that glory reign in my heart.”
Genesis 12:1-4
Psalm 33:4-5, 18-20, 22
2 Timothy 1:8-10
