Others might vote for some different year, but I think Jesus had control of our culture until the year 1956. That was the year Elvis Presley causing homerism with his movements on television. He recorded Heartbreak Hotel.

Our task at Landover Baptist is to maintain our 1956 values and stop any further deterioration. What our society had to face was this:

I think it started further back. I will make the case the beginning of the end was in 1826.

I believe this was about the time women started wearing undergarments that closed around each leg ("pantaloons" and "bloomers" and such). Prior to that, society knew that having something between a woman's thigh was a sin. That's why the side saddle was a thing. But once women got used to the stimulation of cotton, they decided nothing was sacred any more (it should come as no surprise to learn Charles Darwin's mother wore undergarments). They promoted lesbianism, property rights, and eventually tampons. I believe it was the French who started this trend. Incidentally, the French change their undergarments the least of any civilized European nation, with only 15% changing them once per day, 35% changing them once per week.
