And Hitler was a member of the Catholic church, even though he was an atheist. It's a well-known fact.
Can you show proof of this from the CCC?

Jesus fucking Christ so what you're told about Jesus being the forgiving type is just a smooth cover up for something to be used to frighten small children into good behaviour.

Terribly off-topic, but I assume you are referring to Exodus 20:13 and Deuteronomy 5:17 "Thou shalt not kill". "Kill" here is the Hebrew "ratsach" which means "killing without reason", or more commonly known as murder. So as True Christians(tm) we are instructed to not murder. Obviously other types of killing are permissible and even encouraged, depending upon the situation. That is one reason why even Christian nations have Armies.

Hitler's eardrums burst under the pressure of the explosion, causing him excruciating pain. Nonetheless, his first, INSTINCTIVE words upon finding himself still alive amongst the wreckage were, "Can any of you now doubt that Providence favors me?"

Well... Musselmen believe in Providence, as do Hindoos. That and $3.12 will get them a Grande Caffe Latte (double-shot; no foam) at the Starbucks in the deepest, darkest pit of Hell.

And yet... and yet... and yet...

A horrific explosion. Blood, bodies, severed limbs all around. The unspeakable agony of both eardrums punctured. And the VERY FIRST THING THAT SPRANG TO MIND was the loving-kindness of Almighty God, towards him, personally? With all due respect to previous posters in this thread, I think that we can dispense with the silly revisionist "Hitler-as-atheist" myth. Adolph Hitler knew- knew in his bones- that God was real, and had a wonderful plan for his life.

We can't know his heart, of course. But I think we can confidently say that, at least as of July 20, 1944, his feet were on the right path.

(for a full description of this incident, which is absolutely true, see William L. Shirer's The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich).
    That's beautifully said, friend.

Why don't you head over to The introduction forum, friend? Tell us more about you. This is an intro I'm actually looking forward to.

OK so Catholics worship Mary right? and Mary is Jesus' mother? Then from your logic, if Mary is satan then her children would be the spawn of satan? So you're saying Jesus is the spawn of satan? So does that mean you worship satan too?

And the catholic church wasn't the ONLY church in Germany. It was the largest and so potentially the largest support base from religious people for the Nazis. The Nazis by the start of the war controlled ALL christian religion in Germany.

He may have been an athiest but that didn't stop him from using the church in Germany to get more people to follow the Nazis.

Why did he do this? Because there were a lot of Catholic's in Germany and he needed their support for him too become elected and pass laws etc.

Hitler made an agreement with the Pope that if he didn't interfere with the Nazis they wouldn't interfere with the church. Once Hitler had power he Nazified the churchs to further indoctrinate the German people to Nazi ideology. That's FACT. Whether you like it or not Hitler used the church in Germany to brainwash/scaremonger/terrorize the German people.
