That's not worshiping. Is it wrong to ask someone to pray for you? The Scriptures teach that intercessory prayer is a good thing.

Romans 15:30 30: Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me

That verse is asking for his fellow Christians to pray TO GOD for him. I don't see anything in the Bible saying "go ahead and pray to any corpse you like."
