You are shocked because you see it is possible that you might be the person being abused. God on the other hand has no such selfishness and will send countless millions to and eternity in hell because it is the good thing to do.

Then how come I am revolted at the sight of someone else, not me, being tortured or raped, and want to help them, at risk to my own life if nessecary? Your logic is flawed.

Friend, why do you insist on being so dense. What part of "this is God's vitrue not mine" do you not understand? My sense of right and wrong is just as depraved as yours. If it wasn't for Christ I would be doing the same vile things you do.Originally posted by shol'va View PostI'd rather believe a lie then subscribe to your "virtue".

Two things I want to say about this. First: somebody isn't practicing what he's preaching up there *looks at Shol'va*. Second: you're condemning atheists' beliefs, which can be thought of as their own religion, whether they admit it or not. Why is it that Rachael can't condemn Christians when she has read their Holy text and has had personal experience with them, but you can do the same to atheists?
Yeah, I admitted I was arrogant but I wrote that after you posted this.
For the second thing, I've had experience with atheists too. And in my experience, it's not enough for them not to believe in a god, they must also act like jerks to anyone who doesn't share their beliefs. Seriously, they ignore all the evidence of God and the supernatural:
Throughout history, people in every single culture have been convinced there is a god.

Human kind's inherent sense of right and wrong cannot be biologically explained.
Out-of-body experiences, where good people see heaven and the bad see hell.
Psychic abilities (telekinesis, prediction of the future, etc.), the ones that can't be explained by frauds.
The higher likelyhood of something happening if we pray or visualize it.
That's all I can think of now... but Rachael can condemn Christians all she likes, yet the fact remains that most Christians are good people. Atheism, however, leads to evil, because if you are atheist and a bad person, you're not going to be punished after you die.
Take it from me, it does. Sometimes I don't know how I live with it.Ditto! I always wonder what it's like to have those things flopping around down there... That has to feel weird. *Shudders*

Considering how wrong you are on Christianity you are fine one to talk. If we were to follow your example and make things up as we go then Starfinder's rock worship is just a valid as the silly pagan-Christianity you seem to believe in.Originally posted by shol'va View PostHAHAHAHAHAHA! Face the facts friend; God created you flawed so your heart will lie to you. Only threw Jesus can you know virtue.

I would like to hear more explainations about why its stupid to worship a god who wants to be killed. Please continue.

You got a point for a change there Ms hellsmug. BUT Perhaps we should Nuke Iraq AND the poor people in America. Save Tax payers Dollar$ AND we True Christians wouldn't have to put up with the smell any more.Originally posted by Rachael Van Helsing View Post

I do admit I'm arrogant, but aren't we all in our own way?Originally posted by Rachael Van Helsing View PostShol'va, the fact is, have you read ALL the new testament? The jesus of the bible did not say all nice things. In fact, he said some very mean things. The nice things don't cancel out the mean things.

I haven't come to regard the bible the way I do purely because of the old testament and yes, it's a little arrogant of you to presume. I've come to my views of that book after reading the WHOLE THING.
I've read quite a bit of the New Testament, but I don't remember Jesus saying many things that I disagree with... perhaps you could show me a few of the parts that you disagree with?

I don't dissmiss it as the truth, neither have I dismissed the New Testament, but truth is relative, and I would rather be damned than follow a god that goes against my own morality.Originally posted by Sister Mary Maria View PostWhile I agree with most of what you said, I have to wonder at the hypocrisy of someone calling someone else "arrogant" when you yourself have arrogantly dismissed God's entire Word.

Blah blah blah..Originally posted by Hairy Homer View PostOn the contrary, angel britches, we atheists certainly do not need to and certainly do not believe we know everything. Quite the opposite! We accept that what we know about the universe is so miniscule that it is scarcely a drop in the ocean. If anyone is getting rebuked here, you homer, the rebuker will be a TRUE CHRISTIAN, thank you.
Not some homersexual scumbag typing with one hand while sodomizing himself with the other..
If you aren't sinfree, then you may not toss stones on harlots, as Jesus demonstrates in the Bible.
And you aren't sinfree by a long shot, our loving Lord refers to you as 'ABOMINATION'.
Now, being a pagan or being an atheistic homer, I don't really know what's worse..
BUT, If you truly admit that you know NOTHING, then making a claim about what happens after death is not only bold, it is hypocritical.
You have no idea and know nothing, and neither do you care to find out the truth. (As found in a KJV1611 Bible for example.)
Because instead, you have a bunch of "scientists" to tell you what to believe don't you, you brainwashed mongrel?
So be silent, you foolish hypocrite.
And try reading the Holy KJV1611 Bible for a change, it could change your life! And Save you from hell!
