Satan has done it again. He has removed and planted evidence to make the world look like one that has not benefited from the Divine Presence of the

Not satisfied with planting fossils to deceive True Christians™, whispering in people's ears, or elevating New Atheism to almost celebrity status, the Devil is popularizing another grand illusion: the idea that Jesus was naught but an ancient urban legend, a myth, not a God/Man cleverly foreshadowed by the false religions inspired by Dionysus or Krishna, or a plethora of other false-gods (for a more comprehensive list of false gods, follow Pastor Bathfire's research here).
This is the basis of the so-called "Christ Myth Theory" (also known as the Jesus myth theory or Jesus mythicism). This lie asserts that Jesus of Nazareth never existed but was invented by the Christian community around 100 CE. The idea was first muttered in the 20th century (before atheism was invented), but really only took off since the invention of internet where so-called "experts" like Richard Carrier, David Fitzgerald, Earl Doherty, and the like could peddle their lies to dozens of gullible fools.
The idea goes something like this:
These people are so desperate, they've developed a "Jesus Birther Movement" to mock and ridicule True Christians™ who will not be willing dupes of an impostor in the White House.
The latest foolishness has been offered by American Biblical "scholar" Joseph Atwil, who will be appearing before the British public for the first time in London on the 19th of October to present Satan's latest lie: ancient confessions recently uncovered now prove, according to Atwill's feeble imagination, that the New Testament was written by first-century Roman aristocrats and that they fabricated the entire story of Jesus Christ. His presentation will be part of a one-day symposium entitled "Covert Messiah" at Conway Hall in Holborn. The liberal media promotes his conspiracy by suggesting:
So Atwill has decided that Christianity did not really begin as a religion, but a sophisticated government project, a kind of propaganda exercise used to pacify the subjects of the Roman Empire:
What's the True Christian™ response to such attacks on our faith? The same as any other attack - stop, drop, and pray.
Stop thinking. God does not approve of rational thinking because He knows our minds are so infinitesimally small compared to His. (Isaiah 55:9)
Drop on your knees and pray. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Pray some more. Pray for faith when rational thinking tries to break through your defenses. Pray when Jesus fills you with that warm feeling that comes only through submission to His Will (Philippians 4:7).

"Jewish sects in Palestine at the time, who were waiting for a prophesied warrior Messiah, were a constant source of violent insurrection during the first century," he explains. "When the Romans had exhausted conventional means of quashing rebellion, they switched to psychological warfare. They surmised that the way to stop the spread of zealous Jewish missionary activity was to create a competing belief system. That's when the 'peaceful' Messiah story was invented. Instead of inspiring warfare, this Messiah urged turn-the-other-cheek pacifism and encouraged Jews to 'give onto Caesar' and pay their taxes to Rome."
