Bicycles did not exist in The Holy Land at the time of Our Lord but we cannot deny them.

Bacteria are over-rated and they may just be bits of dirt floating about (OK, bits of dirt with patterns on them but, bits of dirt all the same.)

Did not Our Dear Lord dismiss any potential effects, in the following passage:
M't:15:20: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Whatever they are, or if they are, is of no consequence to the Faith of a Believer and True Christian. So rather than derail a thread, could you just let this one drop? Thank you.

What's cretinous about scientific fact, nearly all other christian sects accept evolution (also there's only 200 odd 'true christians') and I can't accept gods words as timeless when you take the technological advancements that have happened between then and now into account

Bats are so birds. They fly. God says they are birds. What other proof do you need.

Science is a tool of Satan!

    Science Science Science

    Read the Bible

also if you go by the fact that bats are birds soley because they fly,
Imagine, as you are being stoned to death, would you consider rocks as birds merely because they fly?
surely many insects are also classed as birds, you have no argument...

How dare you mention bats as primates >.<, That implies you believe in the lies of evolution, bats are biirds and so are insects and planes for that matter, they havewings so they must be.

If you can find walking bats, I can find birds with tallywhackers
another fact is bats have live young, birds lay eggs
    Consider the platypus
and bats urinate which birds do not do their urea is realised with the faeces in the solid form of ureic acid
This is vile potty talk and an obsession with animal rude bits.

I realize you see all this as a debating point, to be addressed with logic and applied secular science – herein lies you fault, which is grievous. The Bible says bats are birds, God dictated the Bible, God made everything, therefore God knows what’s what. Case closed.

You can squeal all you want, but God trumps taxonomy.

Sure, they may be creepy birds that don't taste real good, but they're still birds.
So, you have eaten bats eh?
