Thou shall not kill was not written concurrent with Adam's life time either, but we both know the story of Cain and Abel don't we?

Well done. It seems that the hellbound witch can retrieve scripture faster than the alleged Christian debater....Originally posted by Dances with Joy View PostDeuteronomy 27:22
Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother.
Now then, when were those commandments written? Was it concurrent with Adam's life? No it wasn't.
The truth is, blood was clean in those early days. Cain probably wasn't the only member of the Adam and Eve family to inter marry, but God put a stop to it when that practice became dangerous to Mankind. What a glorious, loving God we serve, huh!? PRAISE!!

Can you find the verse in the Bible that forbids incest? God will not be mocked, goofy.Originally posted by moofy View PostWell, The good news is, that this explanation provides some answers as to the obvious low IQ levels in some of our members.
The bad news is, this explanation does contradict other verses that claim brothers and sisters should not have intercourse.
Could you kindly provide an explanation to the new problem created with this response?
Thank you

The Bible doesn't tell us exactly when God created every monkey in the jungle either. How many did He create for you to worship? Do you want to whine about that too?Originally posted by moofy View PostI have read the 4th chapter of Genesis for myself and find no mention of HOW the people in the land of NOD actually got there. It does, however, mention the location of the land of NOD which is east of Eden. However, the location of the land of NOD does not help when asked HOW the people got there in the first place if Adam and Eve only had 2 sons (up until that time). If you are having trouble finding a reasonable answer that's fine, but don't accuse me of hurling hateful spew at you
Son, I'm still waiting for you to come clean and admit that you are one of satan's emissaries. The Bible contains all the information that God wants you to know. Throwing a hissy fit about some detail that you are obsessing over is not impressive. If you repent now and accept Jesus as your Savior, you MAY have an opportunity to ask Him idiotic questions like the one you are fretting about here. Personally, I'll be asking Him a few other things.....

So you are saying Cain married his Sister?Originally posted by Virginia D. Templeton View PostThat's one big straw man you just built for yourself, boy. The only one claiming that Cain's wife was unrelated to Adam and Eve is you; the Bible, on the other hand (still haven't read it, have you?) is quite clear on the matter.
Genesis 5
1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:
4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
See? Adam had oodles of children. Cain married one of them. If you'd bothered to exercise your brain muscles a bit and crack open your KJV, you'd know this by now.
