But the Bible is true. It doesn't matter if you want an excuse to have anal sex with no penalty for all eternity.

Don't think you got the point. The point was that this "the Bible proves the Bible is true" is flawed.Originally posted by Redeemed Papist View PostYou really weren't paying attention, were you? It should state a connection to something distinct from your deduction, in this case, the physical world.

[/INDENT]Also, I specifically stated "absolutely everywhere." The Bible does not correlate with absolutely every aspect of the physical world, as shown in thousands of examples. This isn't the point though. The point is that you should state that it does correlate, because the Bible proves the Bible isn't a valid argument.
Humans have been able to comprehend where rain comes from for quite a while now. However, the 'no thinking' rule prohibits True Christians from comprehending this, so I completely understand.
I'm inclined to be more worried about that than satisfying the daft questions of some annoying atheist on the internet.
Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Absolutely everywhere in the physical world. As God has created it, it should correlate with the Bible. And I'd expect True Christians to state this and give realistic examples(unlike those found in this section) to avoid being accused of circular reasoning.
Job 37:5-6,10-11,14-17
5God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
6For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.
10By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
11Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
14Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
15Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
16Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
17How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
It's all there for you, waiting, just as described. You're not meant to understand it, just be in wonder and give thanks.
Job 37:23-24
23Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
24Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
But you have to go and try to be an ungrateful clever clogs. Well God has no respect for you.
Romans 1:21-23
21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
So, you see, God hates you. You are going to go to Hell.

The point is, evolutionists cannot be swayed from their theory unless you get them to believe the bible or you manage to find a way to disprove their theory while conforming to their idea that the bible is not true. I believe we should stick to the latter since we are discussing the flaws within evolution, not the contradictions between evolution and the Bible.

Re: Questions that evolutionist can’t answer
I am pointing out two ways in which you can get evolutionists to dispose of their non-biblical theory. The entire sentence is connected. It is either change their underlying beliefs or disprove evolution while maintaining their underlying beliefs. The latter of which may then change their underlying beliefs, once evolution is disproved and they have nothing else to turn to.Originally posted by Jedediah View PostI've made a covenant with God that I will spend my life seeking His face and promulgating His gospel to everyone I encounter in this meaningless, temporary existence. Interesting part. Wouldn't this make God mysterious to humans, as I mentioned in other threads? His thoughts are higher, so we cannot think as God does, but only know what is in the Bible.Originally posted by Jedediah View PostIsaiah 55:9
