That's your choice, of course. But here at the Landover Baptist Church forum we look at things from a Biblical perspective. It is our raison d'etre. We will never waver from our perspective and since it is our website, it is our prerogative to set the agenda and guidelines for our site's content.


If you wish to engage in a detailed discussion of darwinian theories, you could establish and fund your own website, or you could register and participate on a site that specifically supports secular science ideas and goals.


Our goal is to help others see what the Bible really says and what it doesn't say, and to encourage people to understand how those words apply to our lives in this current day and age. We prefer to go about it in a nice way, but if people persist in coming here while closing their eyes to Biblical Truth(tm) then we will, if necessary, prop open their eyes with metaphoric toothpicks while we shine God's heavenly light upon their exposed pupils.

Because rocks are just lumps of minerals and very few minerals contain any carbon at all.

The minerals that are made of carbon are called diamonds. And graphite, depending on their formation circumstances.

Please don´t misinform people on this forum. The carbon found in the ground is mostly present as natural gas, gasoline, diesel, coal and tar. The elements rocks mostly consist of are selenium, oxygen and some metals.

I'm going to stop you right there, dear. You've already missed your opportunity to explain just HOW sharks are perfectly adapted to life in the ocean. The Holy Bible tells us straight up:

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly,
after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:21

If God saw that it wasn't good, He would have changed it. But it was good, which means sharks are perfectly adapted to life in the ocean because that's how God created them. Honestly, if you can't get the first fact right, it's clear you don't comprehend the question. Certainly not the answer.

While I don't believe in Noah's flood, I will explain it to you. By the Bible's own admission, the flood took place on Earth. In case you were unaware, Mars is several million miles away and would have been totally unaffected by the great flood. The floods on Mars could have happened the same way the thousands of floods on Earth happen. By large melting of ice, heavy fall of rain etc.

If we still lived in the cave, then this point would be valid, however most humans survive anyway due to our technologies so less intelligent people are still able to thrive becuase they have other qualities that are good and the advancement of the human race allows them to be equal to everyone else.

Humans are not perfect becuase we have only been around for a very short time, on the evolutionary scale anyway. Also, environments change. So in a few million years if the environment changes to give people with three arms an advantage, humans may start growing a third apendage.

Because of humans' advanced brain capable of emotion, some people may express the want to kill. However, abortion is not murder. The foetus is not conscious and only a clump of cells at the time when abortion is allowed.

That's not enough time for any substantial change to happen. Also, we evolved a natural protector, our skin. The clothes that we make are made of synthetic fibres that cannot be produced in a living thing, we make them in labs. We have evolved this clothing, it is the skin protecting and covering the muscles and internal organs.

Most women don't have an exta rib. Evolution does not take into account Adam and Eve as it is not logical

There is no proof of demons, therefore evoultion does not take them into account

Jesus didn't exist but the people 2000 years ago were probably more fit than the people today due to the abscence of sugar and complex carbohydrates in their diets and also more exercise. Also, species evolve at different rates and two thousand years is not long enough for a significant change
