    Re: Bellybuttons

    Returning to the original question..
Adam and Eve DIDN'T HAVE ANY BELLYBUTTONS. NEVER. (ONLY their descendants do!)
Since they were not born, but created directly by God, they would have had no bellybuttons.
God did not add any bellybuttons to them either (and why would He give them such a redundant thing?), even after they fell into sin:
Because God, being omniscient KNEW they would fell into sin even before He created them, so why wouldn't He had given them bellybuttons in the first place then?
And why would they get bellybuttons because they had sinned? A bellybutton is simply a sign that you've been born of a woman:
Thus everything with a bellybutton is unclean until cleansed by Jesus blood.. (Job 25:4)
It's a sign of birth (ie the sin of being born), not a sign of that Eve ate that apple. (and tricked Adam into doing it too.)

And if bellybuttons were the "mark of Cain" as suggested in one theory then Cain would have been the only one in the world with a bellybutton!
(Cause God never set such a mark on anyone else in the manner He did with Cain.)

So the theories are preposterous, and only a false Christian or a woman would ever think they had any bellybuttons..
Believing the bellybutton heresy borders on blasphemy against God's perfect power!
Repent all you who believe it!

If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
A foolish woman is clamorous: She is simple, and knoweth nothing.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with SS on this one.
