I have noticed several debates on this particular subject here. To all you godless atheists out there, let's settle this once and for all...

In the modern world it has become a widely spread lie that the earth is round. Of course, this is impossible. If the earth is round, then why don't people just fall off at the bottom?

The answer is simple: The Earth is not round!

Now, if we take a look at some scripture, it clearly tells us the earth is not round but flat:

Jeremiah 16:19:
O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.



According to Jeremiah 16:19, the earth has ends. There is no way a spherical earth could have ends, and therefore the earth must be flat. The Book of Revelation tells a similar story:

No. He is referring to the fact that the earth, like everything else, is on a timeline, With a time of beginning, and a time of ending.

Revelation 7:1:
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

A spherical earth cannot have corners, it is scientifically impossible. The only logical explanation is that the earth is flat. Checkmate atheists!

The earth has 4 points of convergence, the north and south poles are 2 of them. The other 2 lie on the equator. These are the "Corners" he is referring to.

Isaiah 40:22:
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Look, take a tennis ball and put a grain of rice on top of it. What happens? It sits there. That's gravity. Now turn the tennis ball upside down. Where is the grain of rice now? That's gravity too.

Since nobody falls off the Earth, it has to be flat. Idiot.

That is why people in the southern hemisphere of earth do not fall off of Earth. Second, your experiment with a tennis ball and a grain of rice did not succeed because the tennis ball did not contain the mass needed to pull the rice.

Please cite your peer reviewed evidence, compatible with a Biblical standpoint of course. The idea of the Earth being shaped as a ball is as ludicrous as thinking the Earth was caused by a giant bang. It's not only unscientific, but embarrassing! Thank goodness God didn't create our earth in the shape of a bowling ball, we would all be parachuting away like suicide jumpers in Asia! Admit it, you are about as scientifically savvy as a stump. Just like your other skeptical and secularist buddies.

Remember friend, it is not the illiterate, ignorant, or naive that deny God, but the "fool" (Psalms 14:1). The Bible is very clear when it come to existence of God, this includes the Earth and those who make it up. By denouncing an obvious flat Earth, you are denouncing his perfect creation.

Your saying that if the earth was round we would all parachute off of it if we were in china is false because, since gravity pulls towards its center, everything, including people living in the southern hemisphere of the earth, would remain on the earth's surface.

You just turned everything I said and twisted it to support you, something I don't appreciate. There are no people living in the Hubble space telescope because the telescope is controlled remotely. And in fact dozens of astronauts have taken pictures of celestial bodies from the ISS(International Space Station), capsules from rockets, and other stations, as well as orbiters.
