Don't be silly. We have a great commission to convert as many souls as we can to the Christian Faith (Matthew 28:16-20). You see, we know if you never hear of Jesus during your life, you will go to hell. We want to help you avoid that. Partially because we care, but mostly because Jesus wants it, and we want to please Him.

what about people who have lived any but europe for that past 6,000 or so years did they go to hell because gods privileged were to stupid to sail across the world and convert them or maybe you god isn't real because if he was so real then wouldn't everyone in the world be a christian

You're also into argumentation? Nice. I explained above that the Truth™ of the Bible has been established elsewhere in thie Forum. It is not necessary but it would be cumbersome to reproduce it in every thread. Instead, you are using ad ridiculum (making jokes about suicide which I find is bad taste) and a straw man fallacy by making a twisted caricature of my post and attacking the caricature.

Because Earth does not MATTER in the long run. It is transient. It will pass. A few decades is NOTHING. We're talking about Eternity here. I can't wait to DIE and to get into HEAVEN with Jesus. Unfortunately I still have duties here. I must try to save lives in the manner that has some actual significance. I'm saving lives for Infinity. Suffering here under the Firmament is necessary to get people to repent and accept Jesus.

Why would you want to bring people to a god to waste their time and encourage close-mindedness and discourage science which has saved way more lives than anything on earth.

God does not "deserve" anything from us. He doesn't care if you "like" Him. He is omnipotent. He is to be FEARED.

That is all it takes. God does what He does. We will ultimately see the reasons behind His apparent wanton cruelty one day in Heaven. it will be revealed to us and I can assure you it all serves the master plan of God. It is all for the ultimate Good. You can still repent and join us there.

God is beyond your judgements. He is the one who decides. Could there be any greater reason to worship Him?

1. You refer not to my text but to my credentials. In fact, the content of my post can be correct or incorrect irrespective of my education, world views or faith. This is the most simple and basic argumentative fallacy called ad hominem or "appeal to person". It is, in fact, character assassination and not a rational argument.

2. Appeal to authority. It IS a possible fallacy. However, the authority of the Bible is not an issue here. You might want to study the threads that discuss the reliability of Scripture and post you opinions on that there. We have openly announced that Biblical authority is something we DO base our opinion on. By saying, however, that "all appeals to authorities are wrong", you are committing another fallacious argument. It is the fallacist's fallacy. An appeal to authority can be fallacious as it presents not evidence but emotional material. But its truth value cannot be determined from its form. A statement can be true even it is is presented in a fallacious manner. Truth does not depend on the manner, it depends on the evidence.

For us, the evidence is the Bible. No secret there.
