I have been in an AIRPLANE about 40 times. And please give a more intelligent explanation than this... All of you seem to have different responses. How far an eye can see, the thickness of the glass, gigantic tsunami waves, oceans that look like pies... Right. So, if the sea is not flat, but like a pie, then how come, if you throw a bunch of rocks into a bucket and pour water over it, the surface is still level, instead of full of "bumps"?

By the way, as you approach land while looking out the window of an airplane, sometimes you see the top of a mountain, then gradually the rest of it as you approach. If the earth isn't round, how come you can't see the entire mountain at once? Thousand foot high waves? And if the mountain is inland though, are the tiny hills around it obscuring the gigantic mountain?

God gave you eyes to see his beauty. Why don't you use yours. Look at the picture from the window and you will see the earth is indeed flat. As for your silly story of the mountain, the same happens if you travel by sea and car. It is an optical illusion. Like on a hot day when you look at the road and it appears hazy.

Hello Brothers and Sisters, After trying the experiments suggested by Rev. Osborne I found out they all worked.

But I still can't believe the earth is flat, I believe this site and the java-addon at the bottom of the site wich shows where people have logged in from has the option to show the world in 3D, wich causes it to appear in the form of a sphere.

So I'm getting mixed signals here, and would really like some help.
Is it the work of the devil trying to get me to believe the earth isnt flat? Or is the site admin a demon who wants us to believe the earth is a sphere?
