that brings me to a few other questions:
1. Where is the edge?/what's in the center?
And 2. Why don't the things living in hell fall down? :S

And as a bonus: if you can locate hell, can you locate heaven as well?

A thing i've been thinking about a lot lately is who lives in heaven...
Let's say that only human beings that are straight and believe in the same things as you do go there after they die... will they still be in their human form?
If so... isn't heaven super-crowded then? and isn't it filled with old people?

And why can't we see heaven? We ARE able to fly above the clouds... :s

Heaven is above the firmament and no plane can fly nearly high enough to reach the firmament, let alone Heaven.

No, they aren't still in their human forms. Jesus tells us in heaven we will be like the angels, just spirits. However, at the end of the world, all of us will be resurrected into our fleshly bodies.

Not crowded at all. Jesus says himself, only a FEW people get saved. Most people go to hell.

The Book of Revelation says only 144,000 will enter heaven.

Because God keeps planes from reaching heaven, just like he kept men from building Babel. That's probably the reason for most plane crashes. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason Amelia Earhart disappeared!

The attached image should help you understand how the Earth, Hell, and the Heavens are laid out in relation to each other. Thank you to Heathen_Basher for the image, which was originally posted here.

You didn't have to fly "a weird way" because God prevents airplanes from flying to close to the edge. He gently nudges the planes into such a shallow curve it isn't noticeable to the pilots or passengers.
