Secondly, if the sun truly burns its own material, then we would observe the sun getting smaller and smaller over time. This has not been observed. If we burn anything, then the flame becomes smaller over time and the material burns up. It's simple chemistry.

Thus, the hypothesis that the sun burns is plainly absurd.

No, the sun doesn't burn as a lit match does. The sun relies on fusion of hydrogen to heavier elements such as helium. The heavier elements which "sink" into the center of the star will produce a overall change in density over time. The change in density will affect the rate of fusion. A lower rate will cool the core - ultimately shrinking it (although that means the rate would increase, so it would expand again).

Those quotes apply to yourself also, so please refrain from such hypocrisy.

I would suggest you read up a bit on the subject, so you can actually try to correct someone without resorting to fallacies. :3
