again, (it's as if you don't read my posts, typical female) the book falsely known as god's word claims that pi is calculated to be 3.00 in I Kings 7:23 (thanks again redeemed_rapist), where it has long been known that it is not 3.00, anyone who uses that number in their calculations can never achieve a correct solution to their problem. pi is correctly calculated to be slightly more than 3 and depending on how many decimals you need you can have them, I personally calculated and verified it to 25 places as a high school project. It's been known for hundreds of years now, I wasn't the first to do it but i re-did it to verify that it is predictably true. It is called a radical because the decimals do not repeat. If they did repeat we could express it as a fraction using integers. Again, depending on how many decimals you want there are some fractions that can approximate pi to make it easier for the one doing the math. My fav for most things is 355/113. it gives about 6 or 7 accurate decimal places and isn't hard to code in to whatever device you are using. I'm an electronics engineer people lol your 'god says pi is 3.00 is good enough for me' line isn't good enough for the real world.

pi is not 3.00 as is falsely claimed in the man made book called the bible. therefore the rest of the book's credibility is called into question. why do we need to go further? if that book is not 100% true then we can't trust anything in it unless it's proven with a model of predictability.

I understand your point, and it is true, I am making guesses, but before I broadcast these guesses to the world I will try and find some evidence to support my claim so that it more of an educated guess. I continue this until my guess appears to be a reasonable assumption and eventually, I might be able to prove my guess right (or wrong - either way, something new has been learned).

To continue your cookies analogy; let's assume that I have the original recipe, I know it's good, but I want to make it better, so I mess around with the ingredients a little. I then offer a sampling of the new cookies and ask people if they are better. I ask ten friends. They all say these cookies are better. I now have a better idea as to whether my new recipe is better. Then I ask the rest of the world and everyone agrees that these cookies are better. My original guess has become a fact!

ok here's something, in the dispensing of gasoline, pi is used in the calculation because of a turning wheel that senses how much gas has passed by. perhaps you would like to receive less gas for your dollar by using pi = 3.00 instead of it's true value. I like that. from now on the pumps should have a pi button on it and I can have more gas for my money and all of you who believe pi is only 3.00 can have less for the same price. a stupid christian tax LMAO sounds fair to me lol
