One of the definitions according to Webster is "A sphere or orb: the circle of the Earth."

Friend, anyone with an adequate education in geometry would know that a circle is flat and that is fact.

Therefore, the Bible, as always, is correct and True because the Bible says so.

I'm just looking for some logical explanations here. The so called "experiments" at the very beginning of this thread are completely and utterly wrong and I would not expect even a child to be so gullible to believe them.

That's your problem right there. You look for truth in "logic," but we find truth in God's Holy Word.

I am sitting here trying to give you guys a chance and honestly trying hear what you have to say and you give me NOTHING relevent in return! Second, If you were in the back of a truck while it was traveling at 75mph, and you jumped straight up, NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN. You would land again in the back the truck. Do you know why? Listen, I'm trying to be as open minded to this as possible. As I said, I don't care so much what the truth is as long as It's the truth. If the Earth is indeed flat, which with my understanding completely defies everything we think we know (which is possible), then I want to hear some logical responses. I read the bible, but I am not so ignorant to take EVERY SINGLE thing literally. And I am also not willing to credit everything we know of life, including the Earth's shape, to people - human beings - that essentially decided what and what does not belong in the bible. I'm not denying that parts of the bible were God inspired, however, it would be ignorant, foolish, and literally just incorrect to say that part of the bible is not "human inspired".

I'm just looking for some logical explanations here. The so called "experiments" at the very beginning of this thread are completely and utterly wrong and I would not expect even a child to be so gullible to believe them.

If God wanted to describe the Earth as a sphere He had could have,

Isaiah 22:18 He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.

So your "logical" explanation would be that the earth is a sphere and that people live upside down on the bottom of the sphere... Friend, please do the experiments in the OP. If you do, you will see the faults in your thinking.

Do you know what jesus was? he was good spokesman and story teller. dont discredit science just because it disproves religion. Read a little more into things before you make up experiments that make no sense in proving anything other than you are blind.
