The straight alternative is the v0 arrow. It does not take you back to the place from where you started. In contrast, it takes you off the Earth for good to perish in "outer space" beyond the Firmament that God Created (Genesis 1:6).

Instead, many sinners simply dismiss this type of evidence because it is against their atheist religion.

Interesting premise, but your faith in this gravity is ill conceived and will contribute to your eternal damnation. A scientist would ask himself, what really is gravity? From what did it evolve? And why does it exist in the first place? It should come as no surprise to know science has never been very successful in answering these most basic questions about nature, and the problem of gravity is no different. Gravity has been poorly understood after nearly four centuries of scientific research, precisely because scientists conspire to keep its manifestation of Jesus' Divine Upholding a secret from the masses.

The True Christian™ however, requires no such research, as we know from what source all knowledge comes. Two Bible references are helpful in considering the nature of gravity and physical science in general. First, Colossians 1:17 explains that Christ is before all things, and by Him all things consist. The Greek verb for consist (sunistao) means to cohere, preserve, or hold together. As if that wasn't enough, a second reference, Hebrews 1:3, declares that Christ upholds all things by the word of His power. Uphold (in Greek, phero) again describes the sustaining or maintaining of all things, including gravity.

Thus we know things are held together not because of some gravitational pull, but because Christ Himself actively holds them together. Should He release His Divine Command and withhold His Divine Attraction, instant chaos surely would result. All heavenly objects, including the earth, moon and stars, would no longer hold together. Everything would immediately disintegrate into small fragments and wander around the solar system without rhyme or reason, without purpose or meaning, just getting in the way. Not unlike modern wiccans in urban parks and college campuses across the nation.

Dear child,

An unbiased scientist always looks for alternative hypotheses and scrutinizes also data that do not fit one's preconceptions. Fortunately, regarding the theory of gravitation, that alternative theory does exist.



The alternative theory, Intelligent Pulling, God keeping us attached to the ground (through the action of angels of some other supernatural force) also has much more support than "gravity". While gravity is not mentioned in the Bible, there are strong indications of the alternative.

2 Corinthians 10:4
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Based on this, you have to admit that "gravity" is only a theory. God has us covered and as a result we don't share your fear of falling off the Earth if "gravity" should fail.

This is without a doubt the greatest load of hogwash I have ever read. You are obviously unaware of the most elementary concepts of physics. OF COURSE the Earth is round!!! People have known this for thousands of years! The reason we don’t feel the Earth moving is because we are moving WITH it. Here’s an experiment for you: if you jump inside the cabin of a moving train, you will land on the exact same spot from which you jumped, not hundreds of feet away. Does that mean that the train is not really moving? Of course not!


If the surface of the Earth has no curvature, then how do you explain that ships emerge upwards out of the horizon? Or that the length of the shadow of a same object is different depending on it’s latitude? How do you explain the sequence of the seasons? Or day and night? Or the existence of time zones? Or ocean tides? Or the shape of cyclones? Or the fact that the Moon is round?


Do you know that you can observe the curvature of the Earth from airplanes? There are pictures of the Earth from space that SHOW you that the Earth is round! If it wasn’t for the Earth’s spherical shape, there would be no satellites, no cellphones, no GPS, no internet. We wouldn’t even be able to be having this conversation!


Saying nonsense in the name of religion doesn’t make it true. It’s because of ignorant claims like these that religious believers are so often ridiculed. Such blind fundamentalism does an enormous disservice to Christianity. You do not enlighten, sir, you lead people astray.

Well, I haven't read the post you are referring to, but to be absolutely fair, I don't think anyone has ever addressed this particular concern:

To ascertain whether this is true, you would require a coastal railway line. Fortunately, we live by the sea and there is a railway line that runs along the coast! So tomorrow my elder twins (10) will accompany Mark (6) to conduct the experiment. If (when he jumps) ships emerge out of the horizon, then I will be sure to report back. It is not obvious to me that a small boy jumping inside a moving train would have any effect on ships, but then I am not a scientist.

I can assure you that the people at the Landover Baptist Church are very knowledgeable about the axioms of modern Creation Science. There are actually only two of them (one, if you consider the whole Glorious Bible as the single entity that it is). Obviously, all high-quality Creation Science in the fields of Baraminology, Geology, and Cosmology is based on Genesis 1:1. However, as we enter the realm of secular physics, we have to rely on another verse.


Physics is all about particles interacting, the masses, force and counter-force, levers, and potential energy. The basis of all this is as follows:

John 1:4
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

This verse refers to Jesus, the light of men, visible light, not gamma rays nor ultraviolent light: These are the foundations of the highest-quality physics that there is, i.e., Creation Science.



Thus, if we look at Luke 4:5, where Jesus can see all the lands of the world from one viewpoint, we know that sphericity is not possible. The light of men, Jesus, visible light, would not move a twisted path, He is a straightforward guy. Why would you want to make Him something bend, crooked, a liar?

1) Jump!
Now, scientists claim that Earth is spherical and rotating at a speed of between 700-1000 miles per hour, depending on your latitude. This is a very high rate of speed. You can disprove this nonsense by simply jumping up as high as you can. Really, it's that simple. What happens when you jump? You come straight down to where you were. But, if the Earth were indeed spinning at such a fast speed, wouldn't you land hundreds of feet away?

If you were to stand in the flat bed of a truck going 75 mph, and jump straight up, what would happen? You wouldn't fall straight down. You would fall out of the truck. That's because trucks move, the Earth doesn't. This experiment proves the Earth is fixed in space and doesn't move.

2) Blow!
Since if the Earth is supposedly a sphere, it naturally comes to assume what would happen to people below the equator, like in Australia? Since they are underneath the sphere, wouldn't they fall off? This is where scientists come up with mumbo-jumbo like "gravity" and "centrifugal force" to explain away their theories. So, the scientists want you to think that because the earth is so much more massive than people or things, that people will naturally "stick" to the bottom of the earth because of gravity.

This can be disproved very simply. Get a balloon and inflate it as big as possible. It will be a spherical shape. Now, take a piece of paper and try to rip, tear, or cut the tiniest speck of paper possible. This paper represents a human being, much smaller in mass to the balloon, which represents the Earth. Now try and place the small piece of paper to the underside of the balloon. What happens? It falls off!

That's right. Even though the balloon is so much bigger in mass, it cannot hold the tiny paper. So if the Earth was a sphere, no one could live below the equator because they would fall off.

Still earth has bigger mass than the balloon, so the gravity coming from earth is higher. As a results the paper goes towards earth.

3) Get High!
Ok, this one you really can't do at home, but you can do it out in the world. Stand on the ground and look around you. What's the farthest you can see? Maybe it's a building, tree, or mountain. Now, find some place very close to it where you can get a much higher vantage point. (This also works if you're on a jet and about to take off.) Notice how in the higher place you can see much farther? You can see more of the world the higher you get. This shows the world is flat because the higher you go, the easier it is to see over obstacles. At the same time, it shows the world cannot be spherical. Because if the world was curved, the far distance would forever remain out of view because of the Earth's curvature. It would eternally be over the horizon.

If the Earth was a sphere, it would not matter how high you went, you would still see the same thing. Since this is not the case, the Earth is flat.

You should be able to detect the curvature of the Earth from an airplane at a cruising height of around 10,600 meters (35,000 feet), but you need a fairly wide field of view (ie 60 degrees) and a virtually cloud-free horizon. The reality is that clouds, hills and mountains mean we rarely get to see the kind of perfectly flat horizon where the curve would be most obvious.
However, you can detect the curve of the Earth from ground level at the coast with a pair of binoculars – just look for distant ships on the horizon and you’ll see that their hulls start to disappear before their masts and other superstructure. Ancient Greek scientists, who spotted this without any optical aids, used this to conclude that the Earth was round.

Also the Earth has four corners and this is confirmed in the Bible. Revelation 7:1 is one place the Bible mentions the corners of the Earth. How can there be corners if the world is round like a ball? People in Greece were once very smart according to the ladies at the Methodist School.
