And I'll quickly demonstrate how and why it is wrong.

Or I could just quote some of the posts here which already demonstrate very well all the arguments in this thread are wrong.

Here is a post I made proving that earth is flat because maps & satellites prove the earth is flat.

I have a GPS and it definitely flat. No the unit is not curved. Also all maps are flat. Why do you have to believe the earth has to be round just because there a satellites.

See the unit is flat and so are the maps.

If you zoom in everything will appear as flat, I don't see where the problem is. If you rotate the earth everything will appear as flat as well. Your agument is not valid.

I don't see what's so hard to understand.

With due respect, if you plan on interacting with people who speak AMERICAN, then it is expected that you know the language well enough to communicate with us.

Google earth is designed to be interactive so the user can play with it. Google made it so you have to move the earth to show different countries.

During WW2 Japanese aircrafts had to go to Hawaii. Did they have to fly over Europe to reach the island?

Also, can you explain me why it's much colder in the arctic than in France per example? Since if the earth is flat, the sun would heat all countries equally.

But it does not. The atmosphere is the same all around the world.

There's a very simple explanation for this but I'd like to hear your opinion first.

The [CD] segment represents two solar rays striking the antarctic area (cold brrr)

Notice how AB is much smaller than CD. It mean in the equatorial area many rays are concentrated in the same area, the area heated by two rays is very small. (high energy per square kilometer)

However far up north the area heated by two different rays is much wider, making this area much colder (less energy per square kilometer)

That's also the reason for seasons. If you want I can make another drawing to explain!

2. No. Planes do not have enough fuel to travel that distance. Have you not noticed that all long international flights have to make fuel stops. Just like with your when you go on long trips in your car. Also why would the Japanese fly over Europe when their planes could be shot down by the allies before reaching their pacific missions.

3. If you draw the earth as a straight line, your argument still holds for the earth being flat.

4. Yes they would fall off. Here is an example, hot air balloons rise when the balloon is hot, and fall when the air cools down. If the earth was a sphere, the hot air balloon would fall away from the earth when it is at the bottom .

If the earth was not flat, planes could not land.

We don't fly AROUND the world, we fly across it.

I was just showing you that you posting a round circle and a couple of lines, PROVES a point just as much as my stick figure does. Oh and that little one on top of your dunces cap.

There is no trolling on my part; I just wanted to show you how ludicrous YOUR example was.

I have certainly flown to many countries, but it has always been ACROSS the world. If as people like you claim the earth is spherical, like the MOON for example, atmosphere would be ZERO and the gravitational force would be less. It takes the earth to be flat for what you call "gravity" to even work on earth.

4. If gravity makes things fall down, then anything on the bottom of a spherical earth will fall off.
